    Hi all

back for another logo after a great result in the last contest I ran, where I actually picked 2 designs as they were so good :)

I am setting up a new site selling canvas pictures called Transform Your Walls .com

The idea is that my pictures will transform people's walls!! I will be selling canvas prints like these shown on these websites:
    www. canvaspicture.com
    www. canvastown.com

To be honest I am not really sure what kind of logo design I am looking for but am open to all ideas and will provide regular feedback so that any designers entering can get an idea of what I think looks good or doesn't look good

Feel free to use all your design skills and imagination and come up with a great design for me :)

There are lots of sites out there which you could maybe get inspiration from (no copying though please) - just Google 'canvas print' and you will find lots of sites for ideas.

Thanks in advance for all entries
    Phil

P.S. Even if you do not win you could get paid - If more than one design looks good and it is hard to pick a winner, I would be happpy to pay 50% (ie $20) for any additional logos if agreed with the designer. One clear winner will be paid the $40.

    Hi again

Just a quick update. I have had a private message from a designer asking me for a bit more info. Here's what I sent back - this may help a bit:

I have the domain registered but no site live at present. I would like the words Transform Your Walls .com in the logo.

I do not mind what colours are used really - I have no preference. Maybe when I see a design I may ask for a colour to be changed :)

It can be just text or a combination of text/image - maybe incorporate a canvas style print into the logo - just an idea, not necessarily what I want to see.

I need to be able to resize the logo for using offline, but the particular dimensions are not critical, as long as it is designed big enough to then be able to scale down also.

I hope this helps a bit more

I look forward to seing any designs

    Many thanks
    Phil

    Hi Neil

Thanks for your entry. I like the basic idea behind your design, would you mind making a few amendments though please?

If OK, please can you change the picture hanging part of the logo to look like a canvas - square with '3D' edges. You would not see the hanger as it would be directly behind the frame on the wall.

Would you also mind trying a different font throughout, maybe making it look a bit more Web 2.0 if possible (shadows etc)

    Thanks again Neil

    Hi Craptalks

I like what you have created, the second one more than the first (with the spaces between the canvases)

Would it be possible to actually put some images onto the canvases - even if you just do it on say the middle one as an example for me if you don't mind, and leave the design on the front pink colored canvas as it is for now (and then change the other 2 if you win the contest to save time now).

Could you also maybe narrow the 'thickness' of the canvases down slightly please.

I like the font that you have used, would you mind adding an edge effect to it, maybe just a border around the edge of the font so it stands out a bit more.

Then, the only other thing I would ask is for you to add .com at the end of the text, maybe rotated 90 degrees counter clockwise so that the .com part reads upwards

Nice design though, I like it :)

    Cheers
    Phil

    Hi zeba5

Thanks a lot for your entry. I like the design - the overall style is really nice. I like the font and the overall look of it all but am not sure about the way the canvas 'explodes' . The position of the canvas and the reflection etc are good - do you think you could maybe try something different to the top part of the canvas though please?

Thanks again for your entry though - I really appreciate it :)

    Hi again

Thanks a lot for updating it. I prefer it with the narrower canvases and like the edge effect around the text. Thanks.

Re: the design on the canvas, would it be possible to use an image and 'wrap' it around the frame like those you can see at say www. canvastown.com or most other sites that sell canvas prints, like this for example:

I really like your design craptalks :)

    Hi Craptalks

Just one extra thing I have thought of - please can you add another line of text under the 'Transform Your Walls' saying: Stunning canvas prints to enhance your home!

Please can you do this in a nice font and in a size which allows the .com to stay where it is now

    Thanks a lot
    Phil

    Hi nabi1981

Sorry, I have just realised that I have not provided any feedback to you. I like the font used and the layout but am not sure about the use of a pain brush. The canvases are printed rather than painted so I wouldn't want customers to think that they were done by hand - it could confuse them :)

If you have any thoughts about replacing the paintbrush I'd love to see them!!

    Cheers
    Phil
