Resmarted.com logo contest. I'm the worst designer so I need your awesomeness! $40 for the winning logo that I'll use for the website, resmarted.com. Designer must have full rights to logo design and upon payment to designer, resmarted.com will gain full buyout rights to logo for use on website and all other media.

Something that projects genius smartness yet with a comedic reserve.

Resmarted definition: To be so much of a genius that your quick-witted intelligence makes everything else look backwards and dumb.

resmarted definition : we would like to be smart again like egyptians cuz we are in 2012 and we can`t build pyramids like them , we have blocks and big building but we can`t build that. thats my logo .. and we really look like numbs in comparation with egyptians

I like your graphic... it's funny! Not very brandable though.

I like what you did with this one and how you put a story behind it! I don't like the font though. It looks like a stand-alone graphic with words on the side. They don't really compliment each other.

Nice! Thank you for so many options! Although, graphic #2 looks like Rusty brand and graphic #4 looks too much like Hurley when they use a crown in their logo. Your best graphic is #1. Yet, that one looks fairly similar to the CBS dating show, "3."

I like how you incorporated the website name directly into the design! Although, I'm not so sure the lightbulb will be seen as an, "A." It's pretty good though. A bit generic at the same time because a lightbulb is more of a cliché.

Nice! Thank you for resubmitting!! However, I like your original graphic more than this one. The other one seems more brandable. Even though this one is 3-D... it looks like scribbles or an unfinished sketch and I'm not so sure it'll be memorable.

Haha!!! You're funny. lol. I like where you're going with this if it was for a T-shirt design. It might still need some work though to look original. Looking at that logo though it doesn't make me say, "Hey, that graphic is resmarted!" Nothing in the graphic says that it's unique and purely a resmarted.com logo. I could get confused from a quick glance and assume it was a Lucky Brands Clothing Company logo. Nothing in the graphic really shouts out a unique perspective.

Haha! I like where you're going with this... a resmarted superhero!! Lol. Nice graphic! Although, the bird reminds me of Wonder Pets on Nick Jr. so there might be a branding conflict there.

Okay... so, it's too similar to Angry Birds characters also. It's like an Angry Birds and Wonder Pets hybrid. Really good idea though. Maybe wrong animal...

It was supposed to be an owl - a play on the genius/nerd dressing up as their favourite superhero (think comicon).
I've edited it a bit to look more like an owl

 

Pretty cool... not really a route I think that I'm going for though.

Haha. My mistake! I don't know why I didn't see the owl. It looked like a bird in an owl costume! Lol.

It looks a lot like a logo that would go on an information site. I'm looking for a little bit of comedy in the logo as well as genius. It's a good logo... just not what I'm looking for on this project.
