Hi Need a logo for a development of properties in South West London, UK called Harrods Village. For more information, please see http://www.west5web-develop.co.uk The residential properties have been built in what was a very old historical building next to the river Thames in London. The client would like a logo that captures the prestigious nature of these properties. The green colour on the website is their branding colour. One idea is to use the attached image to create silhouette of the building along with the words Harrods Village. 1. Contest runs for 5 days but will extend if required 2. No clip art/copyright images please - original designs only 3. Logo must be suitable for web and print 4. Winner will be paid $40 via PayPal 5. thanks for the great entries so far. Perhaps I wasn't clear but the wording only needs to say Harrods Village, nothing else. I'll get feedback on these initial designs asap. Paul
some feedback from the client on some of the initial designs: saidbenssi, shoutRAWR & Larrya-Ro: these logos don't have the obvious Harrods appeal i.e. simple clear letters and image AkosiADV: too "heavy" Puttu and Sabit - these are the favorite so far with the client liking the building. They would like so "see the text less prominent i.e. squeeze the length of the word HARRODS VILLAGE down to the width of the WHM image". They would also like to see the building in Black and White if possible. Reference the font for the words Harrods Village, they would like to try something similar to the font used in the attached image. (sorry, I don't know what this font is). Keep up the great work. Will get feedback on the other designs asap. Paul
