Hi guys I need a logo for a Luxury home builder. Consider giving it a bit of Tuscan or Spanish influince. The logo needs to be mostly tan, black and white although it can have some color. I envision a elegant and very simplistic sketch of an older building (an adobe or a mission) with the text below or to the side. The image could be an entire building or only a portion of one (like a portion of a door and roof)...

The Company Name is: R. Himmer Construction Inc.

Here is one I did (you might consider something similar but with a more simple drawing in the middle..)
    rhimmer.jpg

I like how simple this is and how the initials are also part of the logo but it needs to have some element of a home or adobe building as well:
    sd.jpg

I like the layout of this one with a drawing on the left and the text on the right. Although I want mine to be a bit more elegant and simple:
    weirbro.jpg

Elements to be in logo : Some type of old world building like an adobe or mission home/structure and a creative way of displaying the company name

Please do not use coligraphy or cursive for the text

I am hoping to choose a winner within 24 to 48 hours max. I will need the winners artwork in high resolution format. I look forward to seeing your entries!

How about something like this? Trying to think of some sort of symbol to put toward the top left.

Hi. Here it is my entry. Please click on image to see it bigger. This one is all vectors, and can be rescaled without loosing quality. Good for business letters, business cards or any other printings!

    [IMG][IMG]

The second is good for website or anything that doesn't require printing quality.

PS. They will be both given to you, as a single work.

    Feedback:

Thanks for all the entries so far… I still haven’t seen what I am looking for but a couple people are headed in the right direction. I really want a SIMPLE SKETCH/LINE DRAWING of a Tuscan or Spanish villa, or a Mediterranean estate or “California mission” style home. Maybe just a few lines to represent a roof line and some walls and doors with a fountain or bushes in front…. I want it to be simple but I want it to embody the essence of an old romantic home. Below are a few images of homes that you could base your drawing off of…

Maybe something like this but much more simple... Only using some of the main lines so you can tell what it is:

    Individual Feedback:

Kai: Need a more creative and professional looking font and a much less detailed background image of a single home not an entire village.

Mr Jinsue: Thanks for the entry but not what im looking for. This doesn’t seem like much of a logo to me…

Tightwad: Cool drawing but wrong style house. This is for a high end home builder so this little boxy home isn’t very representative of what he does. It needs to be a large house with different roof lines…. Its also a little too cartoonish. I need it to be more simple and more elegant.

Kikuyaar123: I like the font but the buildings are wrong again. You used an old commercial building in a town but the client builds houses. I also want it to be a simple sketch not a detailed image…

MSI52: I like the simplicity but it needs to be a larger more architecturally stunning house and it needs to look hand drawn. Just a simple freehand line drawing would be cool. Also no blue but rather black and tan…

Welgood: Wrong type of house. Just looking for a simple line drawing not a detailed black and white photo… Also want a more unique font.

Bishopstill: The actual logo on the first one doesn’t have any elements of a home (besides the for sale image which I wouldn’t be able to use). The second image is the wrong style house and again its not a drawing or sketch…

Tsoft: My favorite so far because of the simplicity! I like how you incorporated text into an image of a house… Maybe try to make it look even more like a house with a few details…Also maybe we could see a couple different variations of the font ;)

Shinan: I like the simplicity but this doesn’t look like a house (looks more like a city). If you could do a simple line drawing of a beautiful Mediterranean or Spanish style villa that would be cool!

Thanks for the Feedback. I thought you wanted an adobe house, but
    I'll try something else.

I do like the simplicity but I want a "hand drawn" look and it has to be more than just rooftops stacked on top of eachother. I want a sketched look of an actual house... Please refer to the sample images I just provided to see the style of house I am looking for. ;)
