ghosthost: Hmmm...very good point. That is quite funny. Do you think I should use a whitehat instead? hahaha. I think Google owns the mafia anyway. No one messes with Google! Over to your design...It's pretty good but doesn't ahve teh pizazz of some of the other ones. It's a little too cluttered. I want to see this on a business card with nice clean, crisp design fonts. The font you have used is very 'puffy'.

Chris B: Your reflective text is overdoing it now. It's a little too obvious and needs to get back to the basics. I'd like to see your design with no reflectiv text below if possible. Also your bullet is better as the one bullet but I'd like to see a clearer bullet with a smoke trail or 'swoosh' or whatever you call it. Something showing it's direction and speed that's more highlighted than what you have.

 

Any good? Lol.

Chris.B: Not so sure about your bullet smoke trail. Your mafia hat is pretty wild like a cowboy's hat. Mafia hats are really particular in that they come down and nearly cover the eyes. Your's is leaning up and to the side. Your santa claus hat on the other hand is pretty awesome. Love it. If I was called LocalSearchSanta.com you would win for sure. BTW, LocalSearchSanta.com is available. You should register it and throw that logo on it and sell it for a couple of grand. Wait till xmas though when santa's getting more desperate.

 

top's idea: Generally I like your design. It has a lot going for it and I like your use of colors that complement each other without going overboard. It's definitely unique.

I was going for a bullet-knocking-the-hat-off kind of thing, guess it wasn't obvious enough... i'll work on it.

Probably the last revision I'll get a chance to submit before you end the competition - hope it's good enough. If you pick mine I'll happily work with you tweaking it till it's exactly what you want after the competition.

That or i'll throw in the Santa one for free... just kidding, good luck everyone.

raju143: Nice entry and you have captured the mafia style picture pretty well. it's not quite what I am after at this stage as the logo would be too high with the figure in there.

Chris.B: Thanks for your revision. Yes I did realise the bullet was knocking the hat off but it's a very particular style being the mafia and all, so I still like to see the hat in normal style. Your new hat is good. No need to put anymore submissions through.

crowquill: Fantastic new entry. Very impressive with both designs and very original with the 2 mafia guys shooting it up. Whilst it is very original I think you bullet holes are a little too obvious. Feel free to cut back on all those bullet holes. Just a couple of strategic bullet holes here and there would be fine. Also I'm a little concerned the shooters up the top are a little too much as well. Very unique but just thinking if it's a little too much.

Masjacky: Very nice new entry. I like it because it is very clear and I like the way you have used the handle for the .com. Very unique. The only think it is missing in my opinion is the mafia style hat. When you look at a picture of a mafia style hat, people relate to it straight away and it conjures up the right image in their minds. As you don't have that hat it may take people longer to realise what the image is about. If you were to do a revision you might want to include a mafia hat somewhere.

To Everyone: This is the design that is still in the lead from the small sample size of opinions I have got (me, my wife, mum and dad).

The reasons are: It's nice and simple, clean and has the mafia hat nice and clear. I like the tagline at the bottom and the font used is nice and modern. The bullet has a great effect going on too. Bullet holes are nice and clear but not too many.

 

Another one of my attempts..Please tell me what else you want.

 

xCuCu: Interesting design and fits most of the criteria but it's still not quite up to Dante777's effort. I do appreciate you posting your update.
