Chris B: I love the .com running down A in Mafia. Very nice. I generally like your overall design too. I would prefer the hat to look like it is sitting on the M in Mafia if possible. Also it would be great if the tagline was more prominent. The bullets in Mafia are spot on. I also like the reflections underneath as that is quite unique.


Ideosmil: Much better without the bullet going through the head! The design with the bullet or the arrow at the end works well for me. I'm probably leaning towards the bullet over the arrow finish. Thanks for updating the hat but you'll notice that Mafia style hats always push down over the eyes or almost cover the eyes.

Some really good, fresh designs coming through. Great creativity. Very much appreciated and look forward to seeing updates and more fresh designs.

top's idea: No good with the arrow. Apologies for suggesting an arrow but I meant a 'swoosh' like a bullet was passing through the text (I couldn't find an example of that, hence the arrow JPEG example). Also I notice you have created the work Mafia larger than 'Local Search' but in fact it should be the other way around as the main emphasis for me is Local Search. Mafia is just a branding type thing. To make your logo smaller it would be nice to have the .com smaller and running upwards as I don't need a large .com in the logo. In fact it should be small in my opinion.
I would also like to add that I like the effects you have created in your text. In particular the half light, half dark and curved within the main logo text. Very nice.

Dante777: I have one word for that 'WOW'. I really, really like that one. You have now shot to the lead (pun intended). I can't think of any modifications to ask of you so feel free to sit tight on that design.

ChrisB: Nice modification. I'd like to suggest one change. I would like to see the tag line unrestricted on the bottom of the logo. Ie it currently stops at the word Mafia. The reason for this is I might want to change my tagline at some stage and the text could be longer or shorter. I realise this may effect your reflection but that is what I'm going to have to suggest. I do like the font you have used on all words.

Dakouten: Subtle. Nice. It's a very solid design but perhaps the font isn't grabbing me or something else. Maybe flick the .com to run up along the A. I would like to see the tagline stand out more. That is important. Mafia is a fun spin on things but the real crux of my logo is 'Local Search' and my tagline.

technoguy: Thanks for entering.Your mafia.com is looking fine. I would like to see the tagline a little bolder, or more prominent. In looking at your design I was thinking perhaps the tagline could go above the logo and hat right where the arrow is pointing. That would keep the logo size the same. I'm also not sure about the gap between local and search but the gap between search and Mafia looks fine to me as it has the hat. You don't have any bullet holes. Like also like the modification you have made to make Mafia black instead of red.

Stellah57: Thanks for your entry. Your 2 men conjure up a different image for what I am after. I'm thinking almost church like for some reason. It's definitely not on the money and not giving me the idea of Mafia. I like the emphasis on the tagline but I'm not sure the LSM should stand out like that and the .com in black and white like that isn't quite right for what I'm looking for. Perhaps remove the black background on the .com and keep the text colors on the words, not the individual letters. Thanks for providing the variety though as it does give a different perspective.

Stellah57: I'm still not sure about your man in the picture. It's not representing mafia to me. Also the spacing in the tagline text is a little big making it look somewhat odd. The bullet is a good effect.

Chris.B: Nice work with the bullets but I'm thinking that one bullet will do the trick. Also I would really like to see the tagline more prominently. Perhaps darker text and larger font. Thanks again.
