$40 Logo Competition (different world times)

    Total Prize: $40
Design: 6 clocks that give the different capital times
Contest End: Thursday 14th October at 18:00 GMT
Important Note: I always pay – even if I don’t get what I want – look at the 30+ previous contests I’ve run.
Entries: Do NOT PM me your entries – Please post ALL entries on this thread.
    Example: http://www.widgetbox.com/widget/world-time-clocks
(This is not great as it is too large and the clocks too basic – but it gives you an idea)

Also if people want to just do a digital version with the timezones mentioned below – I will also pay $40 if I really like the design – it can be scrolling, in a block – whatever you can think of.

The clocks will need the following capitals mentioned:
New York, London, Tokyo, Paris, Hong Kong, Johannesburg

The designs can be horizontal, vertical or in a block (it would be good to see all)

I don’t want the clocks to be too large either and it may be a good idea to put the time digitally as well below the clock – or it may not.

The design will need to be fresh – but also professional as most users will be business & Finance sites.

It will become a widget – so please include oilprice.com somewhere on the design – if you put a square around the clock which is probably best (as it give you more chance to add a theme) – it can go under the clock or possibly have a little part under the square. – What I mean buy this is to have something similar to the Get Widget sign at the bottom of this clock: http://www.widgetbox.com/widget/magic-tree-clock
But it must be MUCH more subtle.

Looking forward to seeing your designs.

Thanks for your entries guys - here is some feedback.

Zasul - nice look of the clocks - but i really don't like the pink - also they are VERY large - could you make them smaller.

Watari - The top one is really nice - but is there any way of having the OilPrice text at the bottom of the design? Can you do any gidital designs. The bottom one is nice - but i'm not too sure as the big clock on the left doesn't really say anything - also the clocks on the right are difficult to read. if you did a horizontal and vertical version on the the bottom one with the clocks a little larger and the oilprice logo at the bottom, whilst cutting the big clock out - it may work well.

Looking forward to seeing more entries.

Hi Guys - i just wanted to let you know i am extending this competition to Saturday – so there is another 48 hours to go.
    Here is some feedback:

Watari – I quite like the clock design – would you be able to make the oilprice logo smaller and the whole design a little smaller? Also would it be possible to see it horizontal & vertical – so all 6 clocks would be in a row.
I’m afraid the digital one isn’t working for me. Maybe if it was smaller and just had the 24hr time for the region – it can be much more simple.

Looking forward to seeing more designs.

    hello,

simple design, I did only the clocks so they don't interfere with the backgorund

I also added a subtle shadow with OilPrice.com text, so it doesn't pop out too much (although if that's what you would like I can change it) :)

The only problem with this kind of text would be on a dark background, there text should be in a lighter tone (it's not a problem, I can send both versions and you adapt them for each customer)

    Feedback appreciated,

    thank you,

    Bucko
