It has been a very long time since the contest closed. Is a winner going to be announced or not? I spent a lot of time on my design and I know other designers have too.
This is quite disappointing. I've tryed sending the contest holder private messages but he/she is clearly ignoring them as his/her profile has shown him/her active every day so far, even today.
Almost there I have stated in an earlier post that the winner will be posted shortly, which is NOT a set date/time. I refuse to pick a winner and regret my choice a few days later. A few PM's have been sent out to a few of the designers to make some alterations and will post the decision when I have one. If you have a problem with this please take it up with a moderator.
Thanks for replying. I just have been apart of so many contests where the CH will run away. That's what it was starting to seem like. Glad to see your still active to the contest though.
Has a winner STILL not been selected? You mentioned in your PM to me that you are working with some of the entries through private message. I think it's a bit unfair to have closed the contest after 48 hrs, but now you have spent over a week working with them, especially when its not EVERYONE your working with.
You keep misconcepting... there were 2 submissions I wanted to see with a few alterations and asked the designers to resubmit them to me. I am not "working with" any of them as that would make this contest unfair. YoGem posted that he would enter within the first few hrs of the contest, but never submitted anything, so I asked him about it and turns out he forgot about it but wanted to post a late submission, to be fair to the other designers I had to decline his offer. I am all about fairness as I used to be a designer as well. There was a small issue with the person who was reviewing the logos (in the end it's really his choice) and that caused this long delay. I am deeply sorry. The good news is that the winner will be posted later tonight or tomorrow morning at the very latest.
Okay thank you. I don't want to sound like an a** but I am always on the cautious side. Once you post the winner you should probably also PM them as not everyone is following this contest anymore (i usually keep a contest open in my tabs until its done).
No problem dude. I've gotta get the email to paypal them their winnings and I dont think they want to post that info publicly on the forum.. lol
