40 impressions in 1 hour but 0 clicks?

If I'm thinking right PAGE IMPRESSIONS mean each time someone has viewed your page.

If that's the case, why on earth do I have 40 page impressions but nobody has clicked on the ads.

You would think at least a few people would click on them??? or at least 1! but 0.

    Am I doing something wrong?

If we count maximum of 1% CTR then you get a single click on 100 impressions !
40 is nothing dude.Grow up and build traffic

The same happens with my sites also. It is pretty normal. See my example site: http://www.facebookusername.net

It gets more than 100 impressions in an hour without any click.

This nothing surprising actually! What you can do is alter the ad positions..and you wait till atleast 500 impressions.

so basically your saying, most of time this is how it goes...

    100 Impressions= 1 click
    1000 Impressions= 10 clicks
    10000 Impressions= 100 clicks
    100000 Impressions= 1000 clicks

    is that right?

my fathers business had adsense a few years back for his business and I'm not sure how long he had adsense but it came out to $41.50 with 132 clicks and a CTR of 4.61%

I guess that would be considered good?

Is there a way I could find out what date these people clicked on one of the ads?

For ex, there's 132 clicks, I would like to know each and every date when people clicked on his ad.

if i seen something on the news that might gain popularity in the next few days and i created a blog talking about it, and i knew it was only going to last in the media for 4 to 5 days. how on earth would I get a ton of traffic in that period of time? I would like to know.

Because I seen someone on here previously that made like $2 grand off of the swine flu hype a few months back. Now, I would like to know he got that much traffic in so little time.

40 impression is too less to judge on the performance.
There are some factor affect your CTR, you need to have attracting content and the right placement of ads to get clicked
