$40 Dollar Logo Pack for a Writer's Resource Site -72 Hours!

    This is to be a helpful writing site that deals with tools and resources for novelists.

    I need a logo that matches the theme and color of the site, professional, slick, web 2.0 style. This should be eye-catching, a main site logo that brands most of the pages together. I'm not set on any color, must fit the width of content area.

    I'm open to purchasing 2nd place logo as well.

    Thanks for asking. Feel free to use the subtitle "The Writer's Oasis" or even come up with an original.

    My idea is to have a really attractive logo as the main banner and then several smaller WF logos that are all similar for other pages like WF Verbosaurus, WF Forum, WF Landscapery, WF Freebies, WF Membership, etc. But these would come later. Right now, the most important thing is getting a good main logo, I used MS Paint to make the one currently at the site and definitely need a fresh look to "brand" the site from the start and to set us apart from other writing sites.

    Most writing sites lack good design, even the big ones. They usually have basic colored font, maybe some stock black & white book or pen or quill and ink image. I want to break away from the competition.

    I like the electric blue and black theme of the site. For the design, glossy icons are nice but only if it would fit with the site. I'm partially colorblind and limited to MS paint to alter .png images, I posted this contest to see what artists from DP can come up with.

    I'll be popping in and out all day so don't hesitate to ask any other questions.

    Anyone working on this for me? Let me know. The site for this logo is very important and going through a relaunch with a new writing tool that will pull a lot of traffic. I only recently got enough posts to create this contest and haven't made any deals through DP yet. That's why I have no itrader points here.

    Winner of this contest gets 40 bucks through paypal or credit card link and good work gets repeat business as I'd like to maintain the same look for the rest of the site graphics.
