40% Differences Among Your Own Content - Considered Duplicate Or Not?

    I want to know about something, let's say I have an original content in my website, then for the rest of the web pages I have quite similar content to that one. For example, my site is e-commerce, so there are always text like "price:" , "material:", etc. so i can say the uniqueness between one article to another is just like 40%, because most of the web pages are using the same text over and over again..does it bring any effect to my SEO efforts? Like for instance this site:

    This site doesnt duplicate any other e commerce site but each post there is similar one to another because the only differences are price details, material details, and picture

    I'd shoot for 50% myself, but most folks say that 30% or higher is the minimum.

    Keyword relevancy to text is important, but getting above 30-40 percent is tough and impossible in some situations. As long as you have keywords and those keywords a few times on that page, your good.

    other name for "40% Differences" is 60% Duplicate, right? i would suggest you to use 100% unique content on your own site if possible. few pages may have same sitewide info but the main content body should be all unique. if you cannot write all the articles yourself, then hire someone who can write them for you. this investment in time or money will pay off in the future. you dont want to take any risk with your main site. if there is any doubt at all, you know it may not be safe
