$40 Contest

Hi DP’ers.

I am developing a website at the moment and I’m having some trouble with the logo. I’m a dev guy and i’m pretty bad at design.

The client has supplied the following images and would like a design similar:

Option 1: Lightening bolt



Option 2: Safety thing


These are very quick mock ups, they are pretty bad looking and I am expecting someone to recreate a lightening bolt. Please keep in mind you DO NOT have to follow this template, its just what my client had in mind. I'm sure some you more creative guys will be able to think of something nicer.

I will pay via Paypal. This contest will run until Friday/Saturday

EDIT: Lately I have had some problems logging into DP, I'm not sure if anyone else has this problem. It will Confirm login then it will redirect me to the index of the forum but i won't be logged in. So please post in this thread too.

Below are a couple of other logos i think look cool, Have a play around, make something new. You DP guys usually have some great ideas.









Please keep in mind that the design needs to look professional, no offence but the above don't really fit the site design that I am creating. Imagine the logo on kwh.com, it just would not work.

So yeah, the font needs to look professional, not kiddy.

A white background is preffered, cheers.

I've got two versions for you (I experiemented with fonts). Feel free to pick and choose fonts from the two designs. Sorry about the crappy slogan - if you have one planned, please tell me! Or you can just get rid of it

I really like your concept Sax, however i'm not sure it will suit a professional looking design with not too many colours.

creative-rascal yours is also good. I'm not so sure about the lightening bolts location though.
