If 10 cents is the average for that industry then there is not much you can do to improve that. Except for weeding out some of the MFA sites with low bids. Even then you may not notice as big a change as you would hope. You could try to add a couple keywords onto your pages that may help Google to serve other ads that may pay more, but if its not very related to the topic that your traffic is there for in the first place then your CTR will drop because they will not be interested in those ads, regardless of placement. Some "work at home" and "make money online" type ads may pay more and might be closely related enough that your traffic might click, but I suspect your CTR will still drop.
Even if i put the 2 keywords you suggested into the meta tags? How does adsense read off of what to diaplay, meta tags and keywords. The site i have these ads on have no content. Its a registration site where people sign up for Job listings. The main page is where i get the most traffic, the ads are legit as i checked with google... So if i put the higher paying keywords into the meta tags and maybe some hidden text, will it help serve better paying ads?
How are the ads working now? Where are they pulling your keywords from to determine relevancy? That may be your problem now. It's not serving the best ads because Google cannot determine the context of your pages.
Having a high CTR is not a problem, there is no such thing as too high... lol... Maybe if your cheating, yes, but legit traffic the CTR could be 100% and google would not care... If you think otherwise, your probably one of the ones commiting click fraud to begin with.
I think it must be pulling ads based on the title of my page and the meta tags because there is no keywords on the actual page, its a sign up page.
even i am stuck cannot create such good traffic i wonder why is that people having probelm in the st arting.
