Thank you for reviewing this contest. This contest is for a total of two banners. Below are the details for each. Banner 1: This banner is for the website: I would like to incorporate Polaroid pictures of the typewriters into the ad. Please visit the above website to see the images that we have in the Polaroids on each side of the page. The important colors / photos I would like to include in the ad are: red, pink, blue, and "all other colors" (which is the light green one). Perhaps you could casually place them overlapping each other -- we are open to however you wish to display the images, but we would like to use the Polaroid concept. Feel free to keep or take out the text that is on each Polaroid. Ad Size: The size of this ad should be 2.3167†x 4.6125†(Which converts to 173 x 345 pixels) Text to go on the ad: --------------- Banner 2: We would also like an advertisement banner designed for use on websites. It would be ideal if this button was animated -- meaning it cycled through different images. Again, feel free to use the Polaroids as inspiration, but for this ad in particular, we are open to your creative freedoms. You can use any of the typewriter images as seen on the above website. Perhaps the ad could cycle through different colored typewriters and then end with the slogan: Typing is No Longer Black and White. Please incorporate the website URL into the ad as well, perhaps at the bottom of each image as it cycles. Please feel free to use your creative liberties with this part of the contest. Ad Size: The size of this ad should be 120 x 240 This contest will end within 72 hours or less! Payment will be instant via PayPal to the winner. Thanks!
The site and polaroids reminded me of an aged feel... Im gonna await some feedback before I do the other ad this is the website image.
To everyone: I am sorry if my requirements were not clear, however banner 1 should be 173 across by 345 long - thus it should be tall and skinny rather than short and wide. ScarletWolfe: Thank you for your entry! The text is a bit hard to read as the color matches the background so closely, also I would prefer a wood grain background or something that more closely matches the site. Thanks!
Hi! Since we did not win the design contest, we figured we can help you with this and win the banner contest. So here are some designs from us: 3 static and 1 animated banner. Banner 173 x 345: Banner 120 x 240:
Hello RaduTRIFAN - You almost won the last contest, and you are off to a great start on this one. Here is my feedback: Banner 1: Thank you for the three options. However, the backgrounds have a lot going on and this makes things hard to see. Thus, I am wondering if you can just change out the background so that it looks like school paper. Here is a link to a URL with an example: http://www.dadcando.com/Doing/Homework/Images/JuniorExercisePaper425.jpg Also, for the font, please use a typewriter font, such as what you see on the bottom of each polaroid. Banner 2: The animated banner is looking nice. There appears to be a halo effect around the images and this makes them blury. If you can try to sharpen the images this would be great. Again, it would also be ideal if you could use a typewriter font, and please start the animation with the blue typewriter, then go red, then pink then brown. Thanks! I look forward to your revisions.
Thank you for your feedback. Here are our changes for both banners: Banner 173x345 px Banner 120x240 px Hope we haven't submitted the files too late. Thanks RT Design Studio
