MoneyStance.com has recently launched the NoBS Money Club and I would like to host a $40 contest to freelancers at Digital Point. What I need is two banners created to replace the current placeholders. - The site is http://www.moneystance.com/nobs-money-club - sizes 468x60 and 125x125 - Somehow I’d like the offers of the club and it’s free to join nature to be conveyed in the banners if possible. This contest will end Tuesday the 12th at 9am EST. Once the rights to the banners have been transferred to me, the winner of the 468x60 will receive $25 and the winner of the 125x125 $15 via paypal. I expect only one person to receive the $40 as I assume both banners will have the same thematic feel. Should I not find banners of the quality I want, I may delay the contest deadline or give my favorite a $10 gratuity. I hope I can find what I’m looking for. Good luck and thanks.
@ black-neage – Thanks for trying but the contest is for the NoBS Money Club not MoneyStance.com, although they are associated. As far as the design, it is too simplistic and opportunity is spelled wrong. @ swfCabin – Thank you also for trying, but I’m not sure that is what I’m looking for. I would like something more original, creative, and explanatory. I’ve asked the freelancers who have sent their submissions via PM if I could post their concepts and my associated feedback on this thread. I feel it will create a better end result for the contest. I’ll keep you posted.
I had to share this as the quality of entries in this post are not as high as they usually are. So far the best design comes from Raman Gulia via PM Entry 1 Feedback Nice Effort. It's a bit hard to read without anything jumping out at you and the fadish overlay. It kind of reminds me of trying to read a backlit blackberry on a sunny day at the beach. The NoBS logo is ok, but I need the NoBS Money Club portion to be able to stand on it's own if need be. If you do the 125x125 part of the contest and just include that logo, I think it may be a bit too subdued. Entry 2 Feedback All the feedback from the last one still pretty much applies. The rolling text is a little easier to read but nothing jumps out at you. Maybe some text boarders would help. Hopefully this spurs some creative vision for others. I have a feeling I will be extending this contest.
