$40 - Advertisement/Banner contest

Hi Everyone,

I am submitting an advertisement to a local newspaper and was hoping the creative minds on here might be able to help.

What I need is a design which really catches the eye of the reader over the other advertisements within the page, and something that looks amazing.

I am not too picky about the actual design, but have listed the writing etc. below that I require in the page.

Apart from the above specifications, I'm really not too picky on designs. Obviously if I don't like any designs, I will not use any, and I will also let you know of any changes I might like to see frequently as I visit the site regularly.

Entries can be sent either via PM or posted here in the thread, I would prefer to see them in this thread so I can make a better comparison between all entries.

Entries should be submitted in CMYK (process) colours. No pantone, RGB or lab colours.

Dimensions should be: 185mm * 130mm (Depth x Width)

Prize: $40

I'd also like the following image implemented into the advertisement somewhere if possible:

I would like the image to be blurred into the rest of the design so it does not have the rectangular shape to it, rather blends with the rest of the ad so use your creative minds.

how do you like my entry? should i try blending this image in that or its not the design you want ?

 

Probably not exactly what I am looking for to be truthful - thanks anyway for the efforts.

Need something that is really classy, yet unique - perhaps you could try some different design ideas with the image implemented.

 

The logo and image are very low resolution, i'm sure they wouldn't look too good printed at the moment.

I'll probably have a go later if i get time.

 

even i guessed so and also felt hard to make it blend (appears unclear) .
do you have a larger version of the logos ?

Thanks for the replies - I am actually waiting for Freelance GD to send me the larger image files.

I might keep the competition on hiatus until then.
