Contest $40+$10 Label Design Contest - Already Have Logo

bokunokane - I like the background and the idea of putting an award on there. I would like the award to have more text, I'm not sure what it should say though. I would like the phrase "Longer. Harder. Stronger." to appear just below the logo. Also, something isn't working with the other text, could you play around with that on the next revision?

I have put in the "Supplement Facts" in the label as well. I added a little more text on the award but I too, cannot think of anything more I can put on the award (Can always go back and fill it with whatever word you want).

I added the phrase "Longer.Harder.Stronger" below the logo and changed the font. I wasn't sure if you meant that the vertical text wasn't working or if the font wasn't working with the flow.

The vertical text has a disclaimer to keep you safe from any lawsuit. =]

I drew a sample box because it makes things easier for me personally to picture. I know the package will be a bottle, but I used a box because it was easier than a bottle. It helped me picture things out...hopefully it will help you. Enjoy.

@Chewysmom - It is very hard to read the "might" part of your design. Your other text and the "male enhancement" part still don't look creative enough.

@bokunokane - I like the design and the concept. Please put this into the template that I provided on the first post. I know that it limits the area for the logo and text, but it is like that because you can only see a portion of the bottle at a time.

Fixed it up to fit in the template you provided. Had to adjust things a little bit so it may look a little bit different from the first samples.

The certificate badge is from istock as well as the bottle. I did not create those.

Here is a quick sample of what it will look like on a bottle. Not the best wrapping job...I know. It's just my very first time.

 

I just met with the client and they are not fond of either design.
They asked for something "stronger".

@bokunokane - They said that your background reminds them of alka-seltzer or of sleeping pills. They would like it to have the opposite message.

@Chewysmom - They liked the strong colors of yours but did not like the design, graphics or layout.

They have said that if there are no other submissions, that they will be forced to hire another firm.

I personally am a little embarrassed that I was only able to provide the client with 2 potential designs. I had anticipated many more. I have until 5:00pm EST to submit any other entries, but if I am unable to provide them with any, they will be taking their business elsewhere.

I really would love to submit more entries and help you out but I have a contract with a corporate that needs my attention (big money).

I worked on yours yesterday during my down time (as you probably know, holiday in the States).

Personally, for the amount offered, it will be tough to squeeze a design in today.

Chewysmom - Is this because I didn't choose your poor design? or more so because I didn't purchase your design for $25 as your proposed in a Private Message to me? Isn't that against the contest or forum rules?

You shouldn't try to privately negotiate a lower price so that a purchaser will accept your sub-par work.

I will gladly pay the full $40 to the winner, bokunokane, because instead of complaining he presented me with three more options, one of which I choose as the winner.

You will see from this and all of my other contests that I am a stand-up buyer and has an eye for quality work.
