There are four reasons why every internet businessman should have a blog: 1. Brand With a blog, you can get people to know and knowing your existence, either from your name, your logo, or even a blog or your domain name. It cannot be denied that many of the blog name or domain name which could become the brand or made the owner name famous. 2. Trust With a blog, you can increase the trust of others to yourself (and your product). They can find out your opinions, your activities, and most importantly, they would have a parameter to assess yourself, what if ‘fit’ with them or not. 3. Relationship With a blog, you can establish a relationship between you and the visitors who could have been a customer or potential customer for your product. Thus, there is closeness between you and them. Although they do not necessarily buy your product, but there is a possibility that they will recommend your product. 4. Additional Income This one I think is quite clear. Although not a primary goal, but it never hurts to seek additional income from personal blogs that we have. Did you have a blog?
There are some good reasons there, however, you can gain trust in a numerous amount of other ways. The only reason I removed some of my blogs is the lack of time to maintain the blogs due to business activity and personal reasons. Couple that with the occasional hacking attempts made on my blog. If you're going to have an additional blog, be aware, you will need to maintain it regularly, and ensure that you secure it as best as possible.
