It looks as though Google just did a minor PR update. A blog I started in February which has been PR0 is showing PR4 today. Sweeeet!
All it takes is link juice. We launched this site about a month ago and it's PR4: used-cars-utah DOT com
oh man, I cannot belive this, How you have got this man? Any ideas.... Can you share the methods which you have used for OFFSITE SEO? That would be more appericiated and more helpful....
Many of my sites had a increase in pagerank today, looks like there is a little update going on. Not expected.
@kathymillerL222 Our site is very prone to backlinks, since every post we link to the developers website and request (and usuallly get) a link back to our site for writing about their app. So we've been able to build very relevant links from many sites. @w3bmaster True, PR doesn't mean a whole lot except one thing: validates your site to potential advertisers. I've received a request today from a game developer that wants to put banners on the site. Did the PR help in that? who knows, but definitely can't hurt and in many cases likely helps. When I look for advertising partners I'm more willing to spend my money on a higher PR than a lower PR site (given equal traffic). So while higher PR likely wont automatically bring you more visitors it may very likely bring you more advertisers. Just MHO.
You are so correct. My printing site is only a PR 2 and I get a boat load of organic traffic. I would much rather have SERPS than PR.
Congrats man, keep up the good work and maybe you should just focus more on traffic and how to benefit out of your website
Yep great job! And how about multiple blog posts created in April that went from PR0 to PR4, some in less than 40 days?
