I have seen a LLLL.com domain name for $2,000. Is it worth it? I have seen a similar domain name with one letter different in the LLLL.com domain name and they want $33,000, making the $2,000 one look cheap! I know letters like x, q, z make the domain lower value. What price would you pay for a 4 letter .com domain name? And do 4 LLLL.com domains websites rank better than 5, 6, 7, 8 letter domain names? Matt.
You can buy LLLL names for less than $50 on the domain forums but you will never sell them on as they are not brandable You need names that are pronounceable and easy to spell Names like TAXO, BETO, TIGO, MADO, LAGO, BITT, BADE, TROP etc Names like QFPZ, QYPX, ZXPE just wont sell unless to a fellow domainer Hope that helps....
Shorter domains don't rank any easier than longer one. A four letter domain selling for $33K was likely an extremely good one like Mind.com or something..Likely a pronounceable word that contains all premium letters. Something in the $2k range was likely one that still had good premium letters, but wasn't a pronounceable word..Maybe something like Tate.com or similar. However, a majority of four letter domains (ones that contain crappy letters..etc) will retail for just barely above reg. fee
this is a apraisal forum, better you list domain name here,llll.com are hot cake and can fetch around 10000 USD easily on flippa.
