4 Letter .coms beginning with letter A are all gone!

I did a search on 4 letter .coms from AAAA to AZZZ and registered the 4 that were still available from registering.

They should be completely gone by now if the results I got from DomainTools were accurate :D

Will the value 4 letter .coms go up like 3 letter .coms? Should I register the .net and .org version as well?

How do you tell if a domain is being tasted?

Its when someone hold onto the domain for a few days to "taste" if there are decent traffic coming in.

The registrar will repeatedly drop and then register the names. Sometimes they register right after the drop. You just have to keep track of the whois info over months. The easy way for four letter .com is to look for either:

    belgium domains
    capitol domains

    in the registrar info.
