I have 2 sites in a similar niche, however the common keywords are a total of 4! I have been actively building links for 1 keyword and the sites are both on page 1 for the keyword. I have used blog commenting, article submission, social bookmarking and Press releases. I was on page 3 in March 08, moving up the Pages on Google every month. Now can anyone tell me how to get ranked well for the other keywords in less time? I've seen on DP services for 1 Million backlinks, are these worth it or will my site be penalised? Or am I better buying contextual links on high PR sites that are relevant? I understand this will cost more $$$.
no don't buy links just get more organic backlinks but this time use the new kw you are going after as the anchor text
If you think there is a quick solution to building links you will probably dissappointed. I am sure they exist, but surely they are blackhat and could lead to a penalty or banning from google. My advice is to stick with article marketing and white hat SEO service.
I would also continue the article marketing. Look into distributing your articles to get more links and traffic for your article. I also personally use the RSS directories alot. Too many times people dont realize the value of that RSS feed. And if your site doesn't have one, you can create one. Buying links has never worked well for me. Google likes good RELEVANT backlinks. So submit articles to relevant directories, use that RSS feed, and keep finding places to submit relevant backlinks.
The links Ive sourced ARE relevant in the niche and about my products.... I too use RSS feeds, they allow me to get pages listed on Google in no time at all...
If you type "payday loan" on google, there are two sites on the first page that until now active in link buying like sponsoredreviews and TLA. I know this because I often get review jobs from both. They have managed to survive the first page for a long time. I couldn't tell which ones because they have been my clients up to now. One of them put a text link ad to one of my blogs up to now. by the way, I heard that adding too many backlinks in short time could make your sites get penalized
Sorry, but i think you are wrong, if he have some money to spare then of course he should buy a few links, not the "million links" thing, thats not good, but buying a few strong PR links in relevant sites can ONLY do good things for his rankings.
