Hi there. I found an interesting article a few days ago about internet marketing. I summarized the I articulate and here I put their main ideas. 1. Integrated with your bussiness. If you want a funtional website this needs to be alligned with your business message. A website should be integrated with other systems in your businees so that the information collected in your site could be captured in a database. Also your site must comunicate quickly the essence of your business and the benefits to the customer. You have a website to sell some kind of product o sevice, you needs to be sure about if that is what your site are doing. 2. Visual design. Everything enters for the eyes, your site must have a profesional design that show to the visitor the aparience of a serius business. The visual design shows your corporate identity. The human being is avisual animal and the sentence "First impression count" hold the complete true. When you are designing the visual appearance of your site try to think about what you like to see when you are seing any website. 3. The technical construction One of the most annoying think for all the navigators is when a website takes a lot in loading and/or produce some error. Imagine that your are loading some site and it take more than 10 seconds to load, obviusly you will close the site and start looking somewhere else. For that reason your site have to be very quick to download, accesible to every user and off course search engine friendly. 4. Atractive for the people What is the main purpose of every website? Of course to be atractive to the visitors and to conserve then as long as posible. The website needs to be atracting high levels of targueted traffic from many diferent sources of the web. A website that have all of this four esential attributes it will not work properly. Do you know some others essetial attribute that any website must have?
Visual* I agree with the image and visual part (although it can't stand on it's own) but it does help a lot, quite a few people ignore this aspect
I'm not sure if your title goes along with the post. You can have all the above 4 qualities and still not make a cent. Also, I don't think the loading time is as much of an issue considering most people have high speed...... If I site takes 10 seconds to load nobody will notice because they'll be gone after 4.
