Some of these I just registered in the last month or two, and two others are older. I just haven't had time to get started working on these, so I'm trying to decide if I'd be better off holding onto them until I can make time or just letting them go. www.coccy.com (An artist friend was going to launch a Web comic here as a sort of play on the sound of the domain, and I was going to otherwise manage the site. She doesn't have time right now, so I figure maybe it would be better to let it go, and work on a new concept when she's ready again. This one I either registered last month or this month.) www.WriteForMoney.net (Don't really care for my original plan for this one from a business perspective after a good bit of thought, so I'm thinking it might be better to just unload it. I think it's registered till next July.) www.BizHow2.com (also have the .net and .org extensions of this one) (This is the one I'm the least likely to get rid of, but still considering it b/c of time constraints.) www.WWEsucks.net (This one I registered b/c my ex insisted he wanted to run a blog last year on wrestling. He never did, and I don't follow it enough to really write on the subject myself regularly. So I'll either get rid of this one or I'm considering either hosting a blog on the subject for someone, or partnering with a writer who cares about the shows or whatever. Not sure yet.) Obviously, I'm still pretty undecided. So hopefully you guys (and gals) can give me a bit of insight into whether I'd be better off selling the domains, making time to run the sites, or build the sites and then sell them off. I appreciate any feedback.
Coccy is a nice cool brandable domain name, however it is super hard to be pronounced, so let it go, ask for about $30. Writeformoney.net hmm okay thats a decent idea, really nice, if you sell this domain, heavily write about the idea in your sale thing. Expect a mid $xx offer on this, if you can get a site running, then nothing like it, lots of money to be made then. Bizhow2 should be sent off... no value to this one though. WWEsucks.net is trademark infringement, so you better let it die. IT
What's hard to pronounce about coccy.com? I guess building then selling writeformoney.net could work. Maybe I'll set that one on the backburner for now. I disagree about "no value" (of course I'm not a domain expert). It has plenty of potential for a content site of business how-to articles or guides. That was my intention with it at least. But since i have another business site, I'm just deciding whether to keep how-tos mixed in there, or on the new site, which is why it's the least likely one I'll let go. The wwesucks one isn't a trademark issue for me. When they're decided on a case by case basis, the -sucks issue is generally fine if it's an actual protest or complaint site. That was the original purpose he wanted to use it for, and I wouldn't let something be set up on it other than that if I keep it. Thanks for your feedback.
Well how would you say "Coccy"? Cawky? Cossy? Co-see? Cawsee? Writeformoney should be made into a working site, you will definitely get a good amount for it (around $500) seeing as its a really really nice idea. Bizhow2 has a Zero value because its no keyworded domain firstly, and then its a domain that has brandability, so let me tell you that most of the brandable domains don't have any basic value unless there is a site on it. For example correctus.com (My Site) has no value in the domain itself as its a company name, but the site adds something to it. You are right about WWEsucks though, sucks domains generally don't get sued. So yeah you can continue with it, hire a blogger and let him make some posts well cited with reference, resources and images, dish out some dollars and make a lot more in return by its sale. IT
coccy and writeformoney are nice names shd sell at like mid xx atleast i guess not sure abt the rest 2..
I already decided to develop that one since the original post. I'll either sell it at that point, or keep it depending on if it's worth my time to maintain it. Thanks.
