I've registered to Google Adsense 4 days ago, and still not have recieved an email saying I'm in the program. My site is stackhacks.com. Anyone know what the problem could be?
is it me or is your navigation not working? That could be a problem since adsense requires a good site, with content and easy to use navigation.
Looks like he put that site online this morning then applied in the afternoon. That's the general impression I get after 30 seconds of wandering around his site. What's the rush, my son?
Could be that the subject of your site, 'hacks', may cause some extra scrutiny from Google. Also don't expect this site to make any money with Adsense. The format (downloands and forums) are traditionally typically disappointng. Further, it will probably attract repeat visitors who become ad-blind. Even further, Google apparently has no ad inventory for the topic "game hacks" (try typing in this phrase in a normal Google search and look at the ads on the right -- I got only one totally unrelated eBay ad). Sorry.
I wondered about this too. I just build a site for a friend and applied for Google Adsense under his name. That was on Friday night 2 weeks ago. After a few days I didn't get any notifications from them while they said it would take 2-3 days to review new applications. When i contacted them they say that it may take up to 1 week from the application date. Because I had applied on Friday night, my application date was the following Monday. Exactly one week after that Monday, they notified that the site had been approved. So. Be patient.
From the policies: You might also want to check you are not spam filtering emails from Google, I know more than a few have done that when wondering why AdSense isn't responding
YPN does not allow hacking content either. I guess it depends on how they define hacking, or else the publisher is using YPN after being approved with another site.
