The advantages of putting your link on sites that you own that are swarming with robots http://www.google.com/search?q=site...ient=firefox-a&rls=org.mozilla:en-US:official
well i got indexed in 3 days, then taken off for 7 days, now im back in. HOWEVER, i only have 1 page indexed but the trick is getting in SERPS for usefull keywords.. this site i have contains similar content to a website i owned in 2000, dismantled in 2002. and IT ranks higher than my new website. lol. and all you get at the old site is an error page!
I was wondering why this thread was in the Reviews forum myself. My new sites are typically indexed within two to four days.
Yes, indexed and appearing in Google's cache, but only if you search specifically for the new domain. I've had individual pages on existing, aged domains appear highly on SERPs shortly after the page's appearance (like within a day or two), but I've never had a new domain magically rank highly. Example of a new page on an existing site ranking highly on SERPs: Google for [cyclist foundations]. A page that was uploaded yesterday is the very first result. This isn't the best example because the keyphrase isn't competitive, but it is a current example.
ya i was easily put in googles cache with my new website but cant get into the SERPS. it makes me a bit mad though because i have an oldsite that was about the same subject from 2001 but i no longer have the rights to the domain name :/ so i cant 301 it.
