Im working on a website and I have problems with 3 columns layout. im dealing with this for three hours now and I managed that it worked in firefox but now IE doesn't show it right - surprised ? ofcourse not :S

    I need layout:
    fluid-fixed-fixed-fixed
    fluid-240px-170px-100px

If anyone knows how to do this so that it works in IE please help me. Last column (100px width can be margin, no content will be there)

Is your layout CSS based? (or tables?)

I think layout 1 looks a lot more "fresh"... i'd say it's better.

I guess I mis-read your post. That is what it looked like. The empty div made me think ie did what ie so often does. :)
