Content defines the ads, and some ads pay more than others.

 

There's no "normal" - it all depends on the type of keywords on your site and which ad was clicked on and so forth. I've made as little as 1 penny for a click and I've made as much as $2.50

 

Prices it go up and down all the time. One day you can have 4 clicks and earn $5 other days you could have 10 clicks and only earn $1. You need to look at the month and week averages to get a better picture.

 

If your content is good, and your eCPM is high or low, then sure, it's normal.
It all depends on the advertisers.
