    Whoa...

How does this guy get away with charging 5 bucks for a nofollow link? Featured are 15 and the nofollow isnt added. So whats the deal? Is he just that good looking that people are willing to burn their cash?

I must be missing something here...

Provides no benefit what-so-ever to the submitters.

The funny thing is, he has "SEO Friendly Directory" all over his directory. SEO friendly for himself, but no one else.

i don't like this, when someone is paying, what ever the ammount is, the links must be useful. a nofollow is a total waste:mad:

No Use. There are better directories. Why should i pay for the no follow link? Anyway I can’t expect too many referrals from this site.

He suppose to have link exchange with me
    http://www.dnforum.com/showthread.php?t=205962

First, he ask for sitewide exchange and after I reply to him, he edit his post and make the exchange display on the index only.
I refuse ofcourse and he told me that my link will be sitewide.
It was sitewide actually but he add nofollow to it after two weeks!

I just wanted to let you all know because I saw some of you have links there. I know I wouldnt be happy if I bought a link in good faith and then the nofollow was added later.

Personally, I don't think that 'nofollow' attributes should even be allowed in a SEO friendly directory. . . kind of an oxymoron if you ask me.

Could be dir owner doesn't know what is 'nofollow' especially as PHPLinkDirectory uses nofollow attribute as default for regular links.
I see he's got my mods installed but do not know him at all.

whats this @ me stuff ? im not the one doing it some clown out thier is...

I dont use "No follow" unless that person did a reciprocal exchange and removed the link on pupose so as get in cheap... im not dumb, thats why i dont even like having the recip on any directories as that opens the door for those thinking they are slick... if i need backlinks ill buy them for my directories.

    thx

I am sorry but you are all wrong IMO. :)

I have directories that use JUMPLINKS. there is absolutely no SEO benefit for the link, and I charge £30 a month to be in them. AND PEOPLE HAPPILY PAY :D Why do you think they pay?

They pay that rate because we are #1 for their target phrase, and they are the only featured supplier for that phrase. they get LOADS OF TRAFFIC AND BUSINESS FROM MY SITE. :D

Now if I was selling my directories (they are a bit more than just directories though) ;) If I was selling them being of SEO benefit then I would be cheating my customers. I am not, they are not even aware what an seo friendly link is. ALL they care about is when someone searches for their phrases, my site is there, or to put it better, THEIR page on my site is top.

So to finish, I guess I am not really saying you are wrong, I am saying that there is more to life than a bit of poxing page rank. LOL
