4/4/06 PR update

Only half of the DCs are showing changes of my new sites (less than 1 month old, going from 0 to 4) - can I expect them to update/propagate or is it going to stay like this until next PR update?

Unfortunately the half that changed doesn't include "toolbarqueries.google.com"!

 

My 10 weeks old domain (I wont call it a site ) www.rightarticle.com has jumped to PR4.

This domain has links only from article distribution sites ( must be around 200) and a few sites that actually took my articles.

I guess the PR update is only for new pages.

The home page has two links...one to an article on my site and one to another site.

The PR should have been passed on to both of these equally, but the internal page on my site has jumped to PR4 (based on just 1 link from the home page) ... the site I am linking to remains at PR2.

had a jump from 0 to 5 for one of my site
But the rest remained the same

 

Based on my analysis, a lot of websites have updated the inner page PR's, not the homepage PR. Check it with this in mind and I bet most of the guys will agree.
I have a website which was PR0, got a few links pointed to the homepage, and the homepage has only one outgoing link pointed to an internal page, which in turn links to 4 more pages. That is it. The homepage is PR0 now. The page linked from homepage is PR4, and the pages linked from that PR4 page, are all PR5.

 

Looks like maybe it's not complete yet. I see Chris' arcade site as a PR7 but his directory is still a PR4 !!

Actually it seems as though new sites got PR but the sites still show the same.

 

Yup. On my biggest site the homepage PR stayed same but some internal pages jumped from 0 to 6.

 

It's sad. I am starting to think there's a conspiracy here.

 

G is trying not to increase the homepage PR so that people do not get a HIGH PR on the homepage which is what is used by people for selling links, and not to mention, the Coop. Makes sense ?

Mystik is right I think this is only affecting sites that have not been previously PageRanked.

 

woot woot my site went from pr0 to pr4 i love it, i could tell by the mass google hits i get per day

 

Yes ALL of my old sites show no increases (and they all should increase), but the only new site I created since the last toolbar export got a PR5.

 

My homepages all went up but so did the internal links as well. Homepage is still the highest on both forums.

 

ditto home page is pr4 the rest are pr3

 

I am seeing a Back Link update. on my site.

 

I am sorry but I disagree to this. Does not seem like that.

 

Sorry I meant that some datacenters are showing a PR5. Thats all, that is the only major change that this PR update has affected me.

Never had pagerank before because of the youthfulness of my sites

Is the PR is going to remain like that or change again?
