4/4/06 PR update

6 week old site went up to PR5. I think it helped that I got it into DMOZ within a week.

Yea, this (so far or maybe in all) is only effecting new sites. Older sites PR is not changing, it seems.

 

i see changes in toolbar for my gt5 site... from a 2 to a 4

 

I'd change that to older pages, the new pages in my older sites now have PR, but the pages that had PR in them sites still have the same PR as before

 

oh and also (not sure if we are allowed to metion other forums here) but namepros forum homepage has updated as well so its not just new sites..

EDIT: just before my gt5 site updated to a 4 it went to a 0 .. was getting worried for a second..

 

Two definite developments occurred on my site today:

• The various DCs finally stabilized at a PR4, the first time this has happened.

• McDar tool is showing the links reported by Google jumping from 53 to 90. Nice.

Both of these are new developments as of today.

 

Ah...okay. I had not witnessed that myself. I have two new pages on blazemp.com. They must be too new to be effected. I can't believe alivedirectory and blazemp are not changing PR.

 

Guys, is a PR4 good for a site that has been up since approximately February 21 2006?

 

wow my new template site got PR 5

and old directory sites still stays at PR 1,2,3

 

Depends on how much work you put into it.

 

I also so pr changes on older sites I have , some went from pr2 to pr4,

Looks like pr is changing everywhere for me, (on my sites)

 

I think this thread should say "All PR update completed to all DC's" PR of my new site has been transfered to big daddy already.

 

A new page on my old PR5 got to PR5 as well. The only link it got was an internal PR5.

All the websites which weren't included in the OLD PR update are now being given a PageRank right now.

It's only new pages being updated. I have a bunch of inner pr 5s, but old pages are still showing old pr. My home page is still PR 4.

 

I have one that went form a 0 to 4 but my older site is the same. Both are forums.

Jeez...as of the last 5 minutes my old site (since 2002) has now increased and more importantly internal links and forums have increased PR. What a night, google analytics codes sent out and PR updates.
