Site #1 pr0 to pr4 Site #2 pr0 to pr2 Site #3 pr0 to pr5 Yes I would say something has happened.. PGZ
I know a update has happened for sure. I just launched my site a month and half ago. And know I have a pr 4 on all my pages but 2. site: onlinemarketingadvisors.com
I thouht this might be a good explanation on another forum. It is speculated that Google might be issuing an over-linking penalty. It was pointed out that an old site that was part of the previous update before this one, got new PR, but the site owner never added any links to the site. Yet a site that previously got PR from the last update added several hundred links to the homepage, got no PR updated on the homepage but the internal pages which had not added any links got new PR. It makes sense but if this is the case of a new filter it will allow Google to combat link purchases meant to inflate PR and serps manipulation. I know when I apply this principle to my site it makes sense. My problem was I believe if this is correct I added to many links to fast cause I got no updated PR on my homepage but internal pages which had not had any links added got a boost in PR. Just food for thought.
seem like everyone got PR updated, but how about the position of you site in google? I didn't seem my site move up in every keyword Also seem like none of my parked page(110+) got updated...
Two of my clients also just got their first page rank, which I believe was passed on from site. 2 new clients with first pr bbcontractor.com nw-photographic.com Something is going on.
Are you asking if anyone received better rankings after the PR update? Because SERPs have nothing to do with toolbar PR updates.
Google PR is live in reality, an update on the toolbar should not result in any movement in the rankings.
This is rather annoying. I own a webmaster site which was PR2 from the update last fall, then it was PR4-5 just a couple weeks ago during the other update, now its solid at PR5 but Im not sure its real. Grr.
i just checked my newest site, adtalks.com, and realized it had a pr5. Thought it was a screw up, but it was a PR5. Really cool. Thank you google.
Weirdest update ever. This site: http://www.turn-it-up.net/ got PR3. This page: http://www.turn-it-up.net/forums/index.php got pR5... how? I have no idea...
You think that's weird? Check this out... This site got PR6. Check out its backlinks. www.mysticcreatures.info
