Apr 20 2007 10:33 PT Hello **********, As you are aware, Yahoo! Publisher Network beta program policies and terms and conditions prohibit "click incentives" to users viewing your pages that contain Yahoo! contextual ads: During a review, we found that one or more of your web pages were in violation of this policy: http://www.******.com/ If you wish to continue as a participant in the Yahoo! Publisher Network program, we ask that you make changes to your web site to conform with the policy described above. If this problem is not resolved promptly to our satisfaction, your participation in the beta may be suspended or terminated pursuant to Section 15(b) of the Terms and Conditions. Please be assured that we look forward to your continued participation in the program. If you have questions or concerns about the changes we?re asking for, please do not hesitate to contact us. Sincerely, Mary Fajardo Content Analyst Yahoo! Publisher Network Now I recieved this email, emailed Mary back and she informed me that they do NOT allow pictures, videos, any type of content that can sidetrack a client into clicking a banner near their advertisements. With this being said I quickly removed all images near my banners, told her they were all removed and I followed the YPN Rules. Today is 4/25/07 before I should get paid tomorrow, and my YPN account has yet to be terminated. I believe if we all just listen to them and stop trying to F them over, they will leave us alone. They hate arcade sites, they hate people 'taking advantage' of them. From my experience it seems that if you were banned, you either received more than one notice (I have!), and either a) continue to run ad-targetting ads, b) run geo-targetting, c) have pics/content other than text next your ads, etc... So luckily (thank God) I'm still a member. Who knows, that can change at any second though. We'll see if I get paid too.
Hey KDAL2007, How did you communicate with Mary Fajardo was it through email/phone. She was the one who terminated me... If you have her contact number or her email please pm me.
Well, good luck with that. I had the same problem. When I took the images off, they sent an email a few days later with the "low conversion" BS in it
LOL Hulo! I simply emailed her back as soon as I got the email. My account hasn't been banned "yet" - ???
