    Hello.

Today I have gotten 3000 pageviews on my website and only 1 click. This is not a one off, it happens all the time, highest is 7 clicks in one day.

    www.runescapevideo.com

what am i doing wrong?

Everyone PLEASE look at my other pages too, not just the index. Thankyou!

your not doing anything wrong mate, it looks good to me, try placing your ads in the middle of a text block. maybe your target audience is not right for advertising. not many people with a credit card play runescape so they are less likely to spend money online. try changing your adverts and target a younger audience for 14 days and see if that improves

Nothing out right wrong with the site. I would tend to agree with Sweetlouise. Two things I would do are use channels (if your not already) and on the front page, swap the animation block with the ad block. On the eyes, the animation block is over powering and causes me to totally avoid the ads. Give that a try for a week or two and see if you you have any improvement.

Make the ad block totally blend in and switch its position with the animation block.

    im just spitballin here but

    online surveys for kids
    myspace grafix
    just kids stuff

do a google search for teen entertainment or teen passtimes and see if you can find a good advertiser in the search results on google. then ad that adrertiser to your site through your adsense control panel

there is no harm in trying

hmm. im gonna think about it. btw having just an ad in direct center off my website might scare away my visitors. they dont like ads. actually, many of them despise websites with adverts.

Do you use Analytics? How many are new visitors and how many are returning? What's the sites bounce rate?

Could try running a video ad next to that image!

That would explain the lack of clicks

The ad in the middle of the page, that stands out, I would change it so it blends in. But other wise, I think it's good. Good luck :)

Video ads come up about 30% of the time. Also I have an extremely low bounce rate, around 1%. I have about 10 - 20% of visitors returning.

No I don't run analytics, should I? what exactly are the bonus'es. I use statcounter but thats it.

Switch position between ad and image.

DON't Blend... it will be against TOS there...

It's not blended. The adverts all have a different background color.

I'd ditch the big text ad block and perhaps go with a single ad unit under the image... or a 468x60 text ad under it.

Put a text link unit at the top or maybe on the left navigation bar at the top.

One problem is your target audience is likely computer savvy and blind to adsense ads, too.

Keep experimenting until you get the best results

Why? He could put a line to separate the ads from the images.. I still think that would be good.

inside your adsense account when you stert a new ad you can specify which catagory of ad to display, you can further refine the ads within the catagory and actually select specific adverts that pay better.
