    Since Youtube updates their script every so often and does a complete redo every few months, is there any consideration of updates of the script included here?

    yes updates will be provided if youtube does change its code or the site stops working

    but the script is made such a way that u dont need any updates

    it uses curl

    curl won't help with pulling the data you need out of the delivered pages when youtube changes how it's delivered but that's for the response.
