    Hi Guys and Gals,

I have this site online since a month or two:

    Bali Panoramas

I shows panorama pictures in two resolutions and two viewer formats, Quicktime and Shockwave.

File sizes of the Panoramas are from about 300kb to more then 3.5mb, with an average for the high resolution ones of about 2mb.

I run stats since a few days only, and it seems that more then 75% of the visitors don't bother to click on the panorama links.

I am wondering if this is because they are put of by the filesizes, or because the links to the panoramas or not to obvious...

    What do you think?

    Thanks...

Wow! Very impressive. It really feels like I am there.

I would think that the file size might be something which could scare people off. Is there a way to showcase smaller versions if needed for those who are lagging in bandwidth. Overall it is impressive. Maybe some hyperlinks in the front page would be nice.

Yes, maybe. I am considering a low bandwith java applet version as well. Allthough the size of these panoramas don't do the pictures any justice.

Well I get some traffic from other websites that I have, and from interested fellow VR Photographers.

I get links from pages like http://www.panoramas.dk/fullscreen6/f11-family-photo.html and soon the world wide panorama at http://www-geoimages.berkeley.edu/wwp/index.html

But I am open to suggestions !
