3900+ impressions and only 3 clicks

I set an adwords campaign for the first time. I'm a newbie to adwords but did some reading to inform myself what needs to be done.
I'm selling an affiliate product, so my adwords ads lead to the affiliate product I'm trying to sell.

I chose around 40 keywords which are related to what I'm selling, most of them have no adwords competition and are searched fairly frequently.
I chose the minimum bid per click, which is around 0.4 to 0.5$ depending on the keyword. I've manually tried to search for the keywords I specified on google, and my ad appears there.
My goal is to attract as much people as possible in the shortest amount of time.
Meaning I don't want to spread out my budget throughout a whole month, but spend it in two days.
I set a daily budget to 20$, and chose the 'accelerated' method in my Adwords campaign, which means adwords won't try to evenly spread the users so that at the end of the day I will spend my daily budget, but with the accelerated method adwords will try to get as many users a possible to view my ad and possibly click on it with no regard to how fast I'm spending my daily budget. Meaning If I spend the 20$ in the first hour, the campaign stops for the day.

It's been 16 hours now, and I've got only 3 clicks from 3900+ impressions.

    here are the stats

Content network total clicks impres. conversion/
    3 5,041 0.05% Help
    $0.04 $0.12 6.0

    Search - $0.04 0 18 0.00% - - 4.3

    Total 3 5,059 0.05% $0.04 $0.12 6.0

My goal is to get most of the click from searches, I don't get it why I have only 18 impressions when searching?
I tried most of the keywords I use in google search and my ads appear on the right side, considering the fact that most of these keywords are searched around 100+ times per day, even more, and I have 40 keywords selected, why am I getting 18 impressions for search.. It doesn't make sense.

Sorry for the long post, hope someone will be able to clear some of this things out for me

It's simple, you're bidding too low. Raise your bids and you'll get more impressions and hopefully more clicks. (Sure there's a couple other things to consider, but this is the thing sticking out most to me.)

    I will try that!
but I stil don't get why I'm not getting hits from searches since my ad appears on many keyword searches, I'm wondering why I'm getting barely any impressions from it.

Maybe your ad copy is not good. Test different ones. Just because you have good keywords, does not mean they will click. You need to make them curious.

Keep a close eye on your account and make sure to set your budget.. i played around with adwords and due to the nature of the business I'm in, i had to bid pretty high.. didn't take long to spend some money on a couple of click..
