$38.80 to my name, and to spend online. Please help.

I have 38.80. Enough for a domain name and a few months hosting.

I will spend my money on hosting and the domain name.

It is the last money I will ever have unless I use it to generate money. Seriously.

I need to know what kind of service is easy to get into demand and profit from, even if it is ONLY enough to maintain hosting and yearly domain renewal.

Proxy? Image Hosting? Some form of Groups site? How can I make a service and make at least hosting fees? I can spend my time doing things and learning things in the meantime, but how can I, for sure, generate 5 to 15 dollars a month online, automatically. I don't expect to automatically generate all my money, but just the hosting fees. As long as I can spend this and keep my hosting, I will be fine because i will be able to work on new ideas and see what niches work for me and which ones I love to help in the most, but I need to know what kind of automated service I can provide for the cost of hosting + domain.,

Thank you in advance, this $38.80 dictates my very survival, so please, just give me advice, I cannot buy Anything but hosting and a domain. Whatever is left over I can spend if need be, but I need hosting and a domain and some front for my site that is sure to create at least 5.95 a month. Whoever helps me and it works, I will do Something to reward you, because I know this info is important and to share it is very nice of you.

    Thanks,
    Brian

Are you even sure that you need to spend some of your money on hosting? There are plenty of free hosts out there that are reliable and can save you a few bucks, so if you are in a financial bind, I might recommend starting out utilizing some free hosting and then upgrade later when the funds are coming in. Just a suggestion, but I hope it helps in your endeavors.

@Christian, I shall PM you momentarily, thank you :)

@Jordan, I have used hyperPHP.com as a host before; they were pretty decent for the very short time I played with it (I wanted to just test an RPG script, don't even remember the name of it now :p). Could you recommend any? I imagine I'd need some serious storage if I want to run some service people use to host files or anything like that.

Ziddu.com pays $0.001 per each time someone downloads a file that you upload (my referral code is below this paragraph if anyone will help me :) ten cent per referral; blog it, I imagine you will do well, bloggers :) ); How could I get into the paid per download racket? Is it a wise one? Thanks guys, this is really helpful, especially if you believe a free hosting solution could work. I actually HAVE some free hosting, he says "My bandwidth and space is like endless so go nuts!", we're friendly and I co-admin one of his sites (big site for a popular game series, but not yet any profit sharing, though there is talk).

    http://www.ziddu.com/register.php?referralid=(y]t0ijvc7

I don't know how he'd feel about me using his gift of space for profit though. He may be up for it. So, given hosting, paid or not, is out there, what do you fellas suggest I could create that didn't need to do anything but pay for itself? A service or something that people can use and I don't have to get them to pay for, something convenient, nothing extrodinary, I only need it to pay for itself, if the host is free, then I need it to afford hosting, just in case :D

Then, I can work harder on other things, like meaning sites and content rich places to visit. Thanks again everyone who will help me :)

    Hi Brian,

You don't really need to spend any money, to make money online ...

The fastest way to make money (that I know of) is to join:
    http://cashlagoon.com

a "get paid to" site, where you fill out surveys & offers and get paid from .25 to $1-$2 (for Free Offers)
Do ONLY free offers. Cashlagoon will pay you when your balance equals $2.00.

*You will need a Paypal account & a phone number so Cashlagoon & paypal can verify you for payments.
Use the Exact same info -- address, phone number, email address for paypal and Cashlagoon.

    * Setup a free email account at gmail.com or hotmail.com or yahoo.com to use to complete the offers--they
will generate alot of "junk" mail. gmail.com is the best because it id's junk mail and can be deleted quickly.

*MAKE SURE you follow all the instructions in getting Verified for payment before you attempt to complete
    any offers.

*READ the instructions on how to complete the offers so you will get credit for them.

*Don't be tempted by "paid" offers -- many of them have "fine" print and can cost you money in the long run.

You can easily make $5.00 - $10.00 very easily monthly to pay for hosting.
    -----------------------------------------------------------

Other free ways to make money:

    Setup a free Wordpress blog -- http://wordpress.com
Join Google Adsense & use wordpress

Name it something like: MoneyMakingDiary -- something along the lines where you can
post how you are making money starting with only $38.80. People are always interested in
how others with no or little money start out & make money online.

You can do the same at blogger.com and link it to your wordpress blog.
Then create a Squidoo lens and write about it and link that to your blogger & wordpress blog
Create a Hub at http://hubpages.com and link that to the above.
Use free hosting and create a website -- one I like is: 110mb.com
Join Stumble.com and stumble your pages
Join Digg and "digg" some of your posts
Join Onlywire.com, then join all the bookmarking sites & bookmark your above sites.

On the wordpress.com, blogger blog, free website, you can add adsense to your blogs and make
money thru it. Hubpages "shares" their adsense income with you if someone visits
your pages and clicks on adsense ads.

Go to the "freebies" section here on digital point

    http://forums.digitalpoint.com/forumdisplay.php?f=105

-- try some of the "free offers" there --

Write about how these offers work for you, whether you recommend them, what works, what doesnt,
    Warn people about scams, etc.

Do the above, and I bet you will be making money in no time, without spending a penny -- just time.

    Hope this helps :)

Cashlagoon does not offer adsense as a way of earning money in the "paid to" site.

The adsense I am referring to in the above post is for his own sites' income potential.

Someone just called me on the telephone and made me go to a website, I watched this inane video of... I don't know man. His pitch was empty.

www.thebestonlinesystem.com, gave me a ref code (the only way to enter the site: 139674) lol. That is Not the way to do it. Not for me.

Anyone with info about automated services I can offer free to others that would be able to make like 5 or 10 bucks on their own? :)

I'm sure that sales call came from me messing with cashcrate.com or rewardz1.com. :p

Unfunded, do you have any sort of hobby or thing you're passionate about? You can install wordpress on a domain for free, and start blogging about it maybe?

One piece of advice I'll give for free is forget all these get rich quick idea's you'll see. You'll only lose your $38 and have nothing to show for it.

I would just start a free website personally, until you get a little more money... Maybe spend 10 bucks for a domain, but I wouldnt use anything on hosting until you can get a good host, may as well stick with free. I would just start with a blog or two, from wordpress, blogspot, weebly, or some other place.

Forget the hosting for now and setup sites on squidoo, blogpress, wordpress etc. Promote affiliate products on them and advertise them not spam on free classified sites craigslist, myspace etc. Good Luck!

Ok, again, I plan to do all of that (and myspace spamming, and all of that, contrary to advice here.) I'm going to try everything.

I want to know what service I can offer people. The whole post has been about that.,

Not art service, not service like models or pictures or web templates; too many indians, I cannot compete. Period.

I want to create a service that shows ads and people use because it's free. I'm not trying to reinvent the wheel and I have No Time to write shit and hope it shows up on google when people search, or write stuff and watch scammers steal it and plaster it on 900 different pages and replace my codes with theirs.

Image hosting site, proxy, these kind of things. Howdo I get itno that?

I dont want to be told about stupid GPT sites or blog posting, thank you :) If anyone is making real money, even if it is only 30 dollars a month, please help. I am not into monmetizing my hobby, I will blog post for fun, but that is Not a job and wont gaurentee 30 dollars a month and too much cookie stuffing.

If you ask me you are better off trying to flip a penny stock to build up some cash.

You will be putting in far to much work and not getting a return.

I would take a chance and roll the dice.

    Double up on some cash...

UHCR is about to move.... (my own personal opinion of course)

Proxy site is the best and easier way for you!
You will need a google adsense account , and other sites that pay for advertise.

You have to spend some time to exchange links with other proxy owners to get traffic to your site!

Test it for a month then see the adsense income,if you dont like, then you can sell your domain with earnings because it has traffic, get a domain and i will send you a free script to set it up, you can get a cheap .info from godaddy for $3
or .com for $5.95 from netfirms!

So a proxy is my best bet? Better than image hosting? Better than some kind of paid-to-upload service m8's?

Thanks everyone for your help; manx posted first about all the content things one can do, and I plan those, I just need something I can offer as a service. What downfalls come with the proxy business? Do I need to be on top of certain things? Do I need to stop my site from getting blocked etc or just start a new one for users who get blocked and tell them to use the other instead? Like, what kind of things can I do?

What is click-through even like with proxy? Or will I just rely on impressions? Because, I know, myself, I never click ads, especially not on sites that I am only using to get to another site :x

I heard I can get booted from servers for doing proxy; is that true? Are proxy's associated with bad things more than they are associated with freedom? Do I have to make sure no one uses my proxy for foul play?

I just need something that will pay for hosting and then I can do countless other things with the hosting.

I WANT to pay for hosting, I've lost faith in up-time for free hosts :x

    Thanks everyone!

yes, most web hosts DON'T allow proxies. You have to read their terms of service. Pretty much the only way you can get a proxy working on a shared web host is through a special proxy server. I don't have a proxy, so I can't tell you for sure, but you can get suspended for using a proxy.

Your best bet for a reliable proxy-supporting web host is through a VPS (virtual private server) which is pretty much shared web hosting and dedicated web hosting at the same time. I can provide you with a free VPS web host for 1 year, with 200 GB of bandwidth. You don't have to worry a lot about disk space if you only want a proxy, as they tend to be pretty light. PM me if you want more info.
