For his niche and the size of his site and the fact the site is just an informational site I do not see the advantage of implementing cpalead. I know this from experience because I am a cpalead publisher and do make earnings from them. Unless he has some definate content that he's users crave, I don't see him earning anything with cpalead.

Informational or blogs + CPALead = revenue and traffic killer.

Try using more ad blocks and try changing the colors...

It's all about ad position and website structure.
    I have 6000 imps a day and I get 450 clicks.

I agree with brainstorm here. That combination is sorta bad. :(

I have a video gaming blog myself, and the conversions are pathetic. That's me being conservative.

The reason why your getting so much traffic and now clicks is due to the fact your running a forum. All forums preform badly, if you got 14 clicks from the forum part of your site alone that would be a miracle. If I played that game I would ONLY go there for the forum, no articles or anything else. Its good to try to get people to go to the other parts of the site where your ads might be clicked more often.

Dont know how to read? YOU can have ads under the title. Quote: " Ads shouldn't be placed under a title or section heading in a way that implies that the ads are not ads." The whole 1million+ ads on Hubpages.com have ads under every title. What google means is your title cant provoke a click. Examples are:

    Click below for great deals!
    Todays Hot deals are:
Right below you will see some awesome savings!

    etc

    Here is what I suggest:

    1. Get Rid of the header: "Advertisements" - Call it something like Games or don't give it a name at all
    2. Place this ad unit at the top right above "recent posts" as well as where it is now - at the bottom
    3. Place a large banner ad at the very bottom in the center - above your footer

Your index page should have three large, dominant ads. Most of your visitors probably don't go beyond the first page (no offence), so you really need to take advantage of your index page.

The rule is really vague and can be explained in many ways however better to play safe than getting a ban without knowing why

Dude, Hubpages is a premium publisher! Besides between title and Ads they have "By Author" which distinguish the title from the ads. And that's the way to do it. You need to have something in between. You need to have some text saying "Advertisements" or "Sponsored Link" to be on the safer side.

Except one 250X250 Ad, I could not see any Google Adsense Ad on your web page.

Well, for the articles it says:

    Posted in: Articles

So why not put the ad under that =)?

No you don't need anything there. In fact I would recommend against it. Most ads are already labeled (Ads by Google).

To the OP, your stats aren't that bad considering your placement and especially if you get a lot of return visitors.
I get a lot of return visitors on one of my sites... yesterdays stats = 29,065 impressions, 19 clicks.

I would move the sidebar ad from your articles to above "recent posts", or just below it, so that its in between the "recent posts" and "tag cloud". That way it will be above the fold (visitors don't have to scroll before they see it).

On the forum side of things, well I would remove all ads for the meantime and only put them back once its grown. But, when you do put them back, make sure you implement them properly.
At the moment, every post on all pages in the forum has its own ad code, even though Google will only display the first 3, it will still draw unwanted attention. I would remove them before your site gets busy.

    Cheers
    James

Try different ad placements and retrieve the data per week and see which placement has high CTR and Clicks that has obtained in a week. And act according to that. In adsense research is important to get more clicks. Monetize the traffic lol.
