    Hey guys,

Title says it all. I have been getting legit traffic from different gaming websites. I am number 2 for my keyword in Google. Been receiving a lot of organic traffic as well. I have placed ads in my sidebar and inside my posts in the forums.

But have only recieved 14 clicks from 35,000 impressions in 26days.

    My website is www.crysis2forums.com
You can also check the forums to see the ads.

Is it organic traffic or are you paying for it? It could just be impression traffic that you are buying and loads in an iframe. Unless of course if it's organic traffic.

Yeah I would try what catslave said. Most sidebar ads aren't too effective anymore since advid browsers are used to them. Also your niche is gaming which usually involves techy people who could be used to be seeing adds.

Could always try paid per impression publishers.

14 clicks in a month is not bad, even if you are not buying traffic it is likely much of your organic traffic is crawlers of one type or another
you need to implement a lot of traffic filtering to eliminate the crawlers in your stats

I would try implementing text ads somewhere within your articles. Also, I would switch up the square ad you have on the side to a vertical banner.

Adversal is one. Like another person said you might want to add some text based ads into your site. From my experience I've earned alot more from text based adds then I ever have from image based adds. It's about ad placement and implication. There are many articles on how disguise your ads.

ouch! you need more revenue channels that are strategically placed within your website - I would take a look at your site's analytics and see what those impressions are doing, where they are coming from, etc and tweak your landing pages.

Well, if you're getting that many impressions... may I suggest implementing a CPALead widget in certain areas of your forum? Maybe a certain sub-forum that has "exclusive content", like certain news about the game.

You could convert and make BANK!

You are not using enough ad blocks. Put one ad block after the title in each post and skyscraper on your side bar.
Don't use image ads if you are using one.

The only ad block i can see is the one on sidebar, Try to use Above the fold (336x280 adsense block, just below your article title) and below the fold (after your post content ends, put 336x280 adsense block) adsense ads placement strategy, that will increase your CTR and eventually earnings as well.

ie: Checkout the way this guy is using it, but make sure you put "Advertisements" or "Sponsored Links" just after post title and above where your ads starts, that will help you to avoid adsense violation regarding not using ads below some title to force users to see ads or click them.

gaming and forum is a deadly combination. Low paying niche and least clicks. Try pop under ads and pay per view like adbrite.

AD Placement, keep moving it around until you found a good, and Track each code with channel, to find performance.
