today I have seen a barrage of hops to my one clickbank product but I am yet to see one conversion. That apart, I was utter spellbound at the number of hops which is very very very higher than normal. I hope it won't lead to problems like in CPC ads.
I usually have this some problem. It happens form time to time and really mess up your stats. Don't know why.... But I don't usually expect any conversion from that kind of traffic sudden traffic spike.
probably junk traffic or robots... we get this but on a scale of 1000s and 1000s a week - never really shows up in analytics though and will probably not make any sales
I thought you lived only in the P&R section. There can be such problems but it depends where are you getting traffic from and which is your product.
If you are getting traffic from Adbrite, then that could be the problem, they have a horrible conversion rate...
Can you check your server with AWStats or the like and see where the traffic is being referred from? That will probably answer all your questions.
Remove clickbank from your site for testing and put direct paypal id for few days , some time clickbank have issue crediting purchase amount to seller , because of this error clickbank gets full amount of product , search posts in this forum you will see many cases like this .
