$35 T-Shirt design contest, 48 hours.

This is a 48 hour contest to create a T-Shirt design for http://www.bobcatsplanet.com .

The image will be used to print T-Shirts via spreadshirt.com, I believe that their requirements are 10 inches by 10 inches and no transparencies. Correct me if I'm wrong.

My only requirements are that the domain should appear in the design "BobcatsPlanet" and that the design should have orange in it, However it doesn't have to be predominately orange. Outside of that go wild with it, you have artistic license to come up with whatever you think is cool, the more eye catching the better.

Payment of $35 will be made to the winner via paypal.

I made some changes so it isn't actually like the team's logo, but is recognizable.

I like the looks of the one in black, but down here in carolina it'd probably get mixed up with the carolina panthers logo.

 

Thanks, but I'd like to avoid using the official Bobcats logo if at all possible... I'm not 100% sure, but I think that the NBA and the Bobcats could sue me if I did use their logo on T-Shirts.

 

just a thought, I would stay away from the gradients, especially in the writing, gradients do not print well with screen printing, solid colors are always best.

Okay, I will redo the one for black shirts and add a color underlay, or some orange highlights.

So far, I like NightVision's entry the best. But its still a little close to the official logo.

This is the final bit I will do unless changes are asked to be made. A variant for four shirt colors, no transparencies, no trademark infringements and cheap to print using just a maximum of four inks.

I like the image with the black background. Its enough away from the official logo that I shouldn't have any legal troubles.
