$35 Logo For PaydayPanda.com (48 Hours)

I need a logo for a payday loan website. Below are the specs I am looking for.

    Name: Payday Panda
    Slogan: "Quick & Easy Approvals"
Graphic: You need to include a panda and some cash in the graphic. I would prefer a unique panda graphic but I am not closed to you being creative with stock art. If you use a stock graphic please disclose it in your submission. Some possible ideas for your graphic would be a panda sitting on a pile of cash, or a panda next to bamboo with cash instead of leaves. These are just some suggestions, I am open to you being creative with the panda and cash.

Size: This will be used on a website, so it will probably work best as a horizontal layout. However, I am not picky to the dimensions of the logo.
File: Winner must provide a vector/PSD file.

All questions and submissions must be submitted through the thread. I will not take any PM-ed designs or questions. This way I don't have to repeat myself and the general contest can benefit from your talent and insight.

The contest is for 48 hours or until a clear winner is decided on. Please let me know if you have any questions.

Panda adapted from looking at a free clip art but I did make it all in photoshop from scratch.
    Feedback appreciated,

Here's my entry. You can move the text around to be horizontal but for the preview I decided to stick it under the panda's butt. 100% original. I don't do clipart. ;) Everything you see here is done in flash so it will be a vector file you get if you choose my entry :)

    FEEDBACK

@colorfast_designs: We are using the panda for branding and need the panda to have more personality. You did too good of a job in making your panda look so real. I do like how you incorporate the green to separate out the two words.Yet, I also think the dollar looks funky with the money signs. Maybe if you make a pile of money it would look better. Hope that helps.

@CameoAnderson: Good job on your panda. I would recommend changing the eyes because it gives him an evil look (or maybe it's the smile). The green in "PAYDAY" is really washed out and I wouldn't outline "PANDA" in green either.

@Dakouten: Thanks for your submission. Your panda is good but I would give him more personality. He also looks like he is playing cards instead of holding cash. The "Payday" font is a little too funky for my taste. I think a font similar to the "Panda" font might be better.

@varuna15: Thank you for your submission, but it is not what I am really looking for.

@renderwork: Thank you for joining the contest, I am a fan of your past work. I really like the name and the floating money. However, I can't really tell what your panda is doing and the plants behind the panda force the eye to look there instead at taking in the logo as a whole.

@onlyfights: I like the font with "PaydayPanda" but the blue line in "Panda" is too too dark. Your panda as well looks like it is playing poker (plus, his face is washed out). A change in the font color and a different panda would make this a stronger logo.

@JM Designs: I think the bamboo plant makes it hard to see the panda. Also, I recommend changing the font for "Quick & Easy Approvals" it is too hard to see. However, I feel you are on the right track.

    Further Feedback
The main problem with most of the pandas is that they lack personality. Below are example of pandas I found on the web, which I think have a lot of personality. Let me know if you have any questions.

    FEEDBACK

@Ninjax: Thank you for our design, but not what we are looking for.

@labela: Your panda definitely has personality but he looks a little scary. Also, you might want to give more diminsion to the panda and money.

@offiri0: Great panda! I would move the panda to the left or right of the text. Also, I would put more money under the panda. Overall, I really like your concept, and feel you are on the right track.

@plugzzz: I really like this design! I look forward to seeing it with color. I recommend putting in a few floating dollars and scatter some money underneath the panda and under the logo (to give the logo a diminsional ground point). Other than that great job.
