@raju14312: Much better, and the dashes are a little more emphasised here. However, the client doesn't like the look of the person. Is there something else that you can do?
@fUBU05: Those are too similar to your previous designs. The client doesn't like the look of mostly words with a small picture, and thus doesn't like this design. Please try something new.
@ideosmil: Glad you entered! So the client actually thought that you got the styling he's looking for right. However, the client mentioned to me that he doesn't really like the graduation hat idea for this website (too many other education websites have hats or diplomas.) Do you have any other potential graphics (with 3D styling) that could work?
@ideosmil: Great. The client likes that much better than the standard hat. He still isn't quite in love with it so he gave another possible idea... (see below) @crowquil: Okay, there are some new thoughts the client gave us just now (see below) @everyone: The client hasn't LOVED any logos yet, though he has liked a couple more than others. In hopes of getting something he loves, he proposed a new idea: "Could a road theme be incorporated into the logos, with the dashes being lines on a road, and the motto: "The path to success" be incorporated somehow?" Good luck, be creative, and make something new!
@ideosmil: Wow. Fantastic entry. The client is quite pleased with it. It is a good logo in and of itself, but he had a couple of points that he was curious about: 1) would it be possible to slightly emphasize the double-dash in the road and still have the graphic look good, 2) is it possible to apply a slightly 3D style to the domain name? A single iteration exploring these possibilities would be nice, but they are not necessary, as the client is happy with the current entry. No further changes necessary!
@mobidik025: The client likes the chrome background, but he doesn't like the standard cap and diploma graphic. Is there another graphic that you could use instead? Good luck!
@ideosmil: Thanks for the adjustments. The client likes the first road design better, but would like to include the 3D lettering effects of the second design. So the first image with the 3D lettering effect, and then no further changes will be necessary. Thanks for being willing to adjust! @mobidik025: Very nice submission, thanks! The client likes the concept, but wants some changes to the fonts: For the "path to success" font, the client wants sans serif and not slanted or italicized text, and for the main domain name he'd like a different font (he's not sure what, but not too boxy, and no dark outlines). Thanks, and great job adjusting to the client's interests!
