"Byte(space)Ventures" primarily creates, and invests in, Web 2.0 companies, and therefore our logo needs to be professional, yet innovative. As is the case for most of my logo contests, I leave it up to the designer to use their imagination and create a great logo. Please do feel free to ask questions. We do not have a public website. If you are looking for a color scheme, I would prefer to have somewhat conventional colors like red, blue, green, orange, etc. In other words, stay away from purple, pink, light green, and other overly vibrant colors. And yes, the name should have a space between the two words.
No, our company invests in Web 2.0 companies. We are looking for a logo for our company which invests in these startups. We also have internal Web 2.0 websites that we personally develop and manage.
Hecky: I really like the text and overall design. It's simple, but maybe just a little too simple. I would try to include another complimentary color in the design, as well as a component that links it together. Sneakynarb: The logo should be on a white background. I should have pointed this out in the initial post. The design isn't exactly what I was looking for. Kingsmart: I do not like the globes or colors in the layout. Thank you for the submission though. jmhyer: We are an Internet company, so I am not sure that buildings are appropriate for the logo. cetakbaju: I like this logo. It has a unique font and a good mix of colors. I'm not sure if the symbol fits with the logo. It makes me think of a DNA double helix. Fidel Castro: I like the colors and text. Similar to Hecky's design, I think the logo is a little too simple for my taste. Coolwanz: This is a great logo. I like the symbol that connects the B and V in our company name, although it may be difficult to see. Keep the logos coming.
