Hi Ariestoteles Many thanks for your design. I really like the character that you have included - I don't suppose you have one of a white guy though do you, or whether you could use the same one bit edit his skin color and hair style In the UK a lot of people would relate more to someone wearing a cap or a hoodie like below - would it be possible for you to change it please? I don't really want an agressive expression on the mans face like on my image above but it would be great if you could amend yours to have a cap/hoodie and be white with blonde hair (like me!). Also, I don't like the font used. I'd prefer something 'chunkier'. Would it be possible to do it something like on the van below?? Then the only other thing I'd ask is to see what it would look like on a white background also or in black and white Thanks again though, as I say I really like it Phil
Thanks a lot for your entry Watari - I quite like the font with the reflection but am not keen on the people. I can obviously see why you have done it to try and include all five of us (thanks!!) but I prefer the 'cartoon' style characters if possible - although I also realise that to fit five of these on would be extremely difficult Thanks again, I appreciate your efforts Phil
Thanks Ariestoteles The man is more suitable now, thanks. I still don't like the font though - can you do the font like the one on the van? I really like the 'thickness' of the font on the van and the black shadow effect. This may be asking a bit much, but I don't suppose you have a similar styled woman that could be put next to the man or on the other side do you and 3 kids in a similar style that would fit in under the CanvasCrew text. The kids are 6 (girl), 4 (boy) and 16 months (baby girl, maybe with a paint brush or similar). They don't have to have spray cans etc but if they 'fit' the image it would be good to see. Like I say I know this may be asking a bit much so if it's not possible just the font change would be great. COuld you also add back in the small text that showed the url also as I liked that Thanks Ariestoteles Phil
Thanks a lot Bothel I quite like what you've done, especially the subtle way that you have added the five of us on the can - that's clever. I'm not 100% sure about the main font but it's clever the way you have curved the domain around the edge. Hi Ariestoteles Many thanks I prefer the bottom one, it looks really nice. If you can still have a go with additional characters it would be interesting to see - as the name is 'crew' I think it would look better with extra characters but probably not if it complicates it too much and they are difficult to add in for space etc.. Bothel Thanks I prefer that font - is there any chance you could add a larger drop shadow to it in black please, a bit more like the font on the fruit and veg van! The only other thing I'd say about it is re: the spray coming out of the can - is there a way that you could amend this a little so that it does not 'hide' the C in Canvas maybe by amending the color or something. I'm not sure what, I'm certain you could find a way Thanks again Bothel Phil
OK, quick update: I've got to say that at the moment I am really impressed with the designs/ideas from Bothel and Ariestoteles. I am really going to find it hard to choose between you both and at the moment I'm thinking that maybe I'll take something from you both, it's really that close!! It'll be good to see how both of your entries look after the next revisions. Also, I'm sorry to both of you for asking for so many changes and I really appreciate your willingness to do them! For anyone still thinking of submitting something (Dietros included!), I'm still more than happy to take a look at something completely different so feel free to submit your entries. Thanks Phil
Thanks for feedback. I did some changes, please tell me what you think. And another one without the drop shadow on the can: I can make the drop shadow bigger/smaller if you want. Just tell me if you want me to change anything.
Wow - I like that A LOT!!! Not sure whether orange is the right color or not but that can be changed easily anyway I suppose At the moment the five people do not really stand out - this is getting picky now and don't worry about doing this at the moment unless it is really quick to do - what do you think it would look like if you added a bit of color to the people so that they stood out a bit more? If you don't think it would look very good I have no problem with being guided by you I have one other idea I'd like to see if you don't mind also. Where you have canvascrew.com could you change it to CanvasCrew.com (the two C's be made into capital letters) and maybe have the .com part going around the corner under the A of canvas, going towards the S. I really really like this design though Bothel, it'll take some beating!! Thanks Phil P.S.
