but its not really your work then is it
you basically copied someone elses work
and changed the text

not really a hard thing to do and not original

just makes people think
have ALL your gfx work been done the same way?

 

i didnt STEAL anything, did you ever go to school for graphic design thats how you learn,tutorials and using your eye i did use my own colors, did you SEE my second entry, WOW this is the oddest conversation...

 

why is everyone worried about my design work and usually i try to come up with something original, i had recently learned this and wanted to use it, ive caught MANY people on here using whole logos that were from a stock photo site please dont accuse me of stealing, ITS THE WAY YOU LEARN, that what we did in college, i thought it would be a nice idea for this site, and whats original about all the web 2.0 designs anyway...leave my work alone, thank you

 

i didnt go to ANY gfx school
ive never taken any tutorials

everything i do is me
ive seen out comes from other people and offen wondered HOW they do it
but the REAL way you do your gfx work
is finding it out for your self
by messing around with the effects etc and seeing what you can create

not googling some tutorial effects and finding one you like and then using it

ive always made my own designs with my own ideas
if i dont like it i try different things

 

Well if you decide to go to school for it you will see how it is, my design is original, i would love to see someone try to find my second design idea for a logo on someone else's site, please leave your comments to yourself, and i do "mess" around with designs, i even sketch before going on illustrator or photoshop, thats how i was taught lets just let the person asking for a logo make up there minds what they like, its not your decision.

 

Come on folks , I really don't think it's nessesary for the dispute. Let's all take a deep breath .

OK . I don't know if the mouth thing is going to work. The concept that Xaralee came up with is nice but
if you can find a look other than the lips it might work a little better. the rainbow & notes effect is nice but maybee for this site overdone. but I do like so far, the only thing is the lips That's why I'm saying maybee it is a little over the top.

I'll look them all over this evening & hopefully someone else will add.

The dot mobi is too big ..
iLyrics is the name of the site & it should be the prominate name.
The 1/8th note doesn'yt work that well.
Give another shot.

On another Note (LOL) There are some interesting entries & hope to see some more.

Very vivid.. Nice job but a little too busy. Interesting that you tried the mouth ..
I was thinking of the mouth profile, on the side of the letter i .
No need for the rainbow effect but I know what you were trying to do & I applaud you for that.
Less busy , If you leave the lips over the letter i it should be a different look . that looks like it wants to Kiss me ..LOL
