$35 Logo contest for AffiliateBang, BRAND NEW Amazon Store Builder

AffiliateBang allows users to easily build unique Amazon stores by using WordPress themes. It is about to be released to the general public for sale, but we're are planning on redoing the site before that happens. We are looking for a logo that conveys how easy it is to use Bang and the potential prosperity of affiliate marketing. Right now, our site colors include Red: #A41006, Cream: #FFFAE8 We also like the blue color that starts out each sentence on the Features page, but are not totally committed to these colors. Please note that is should be AffiliateBang, not Affiliate Bang. We do not want a logo with a "tech" style, but other than that, we are open to pretty much anything. We will definitely be eliminating the three picture "fan" on the upper right, so please do not use that in your design.

Additionally, if we really like the logo, we may offer the winner a free non-transferable copy of Bang for use on their own domain, as long as they agree to write a short review of it.

Thanks for your entry, could you try it with the red in place of the blue on a transparent background and remove some of the empty space on both sides?

Thanks to everyone for your interest. However, none of the current entries are suitable for our needs, so I thought I would provide additional information. We are not looking for our name in stylized fonts, we are looking for a unique image that can be associated with the name AffiliateBang, or a unique image that contains the words "AffiliateBang". We want friendly, but not cartoonish. We don't want to rule out the use of the bomb per se, but it has to convey something because some people may think that Bang is meant to be destructive to sites. I probably should have included this in the first place, but this should hopefully give everyone a better idea of the concept. The reason it is called Bang is because it is amazingly easy to configure. The person chooses a Wordpress theme, adds it to their admin area, and Bang! they have an Amazon store to fill with products they choose. Bang helps eliminate having to worry about color choices, aligning columns, choosing tab colors, etc, because it uses Wordpress themes.

Feedback on entries so far:

@ The Article Person: Your colors in the font are very good, but the font is hard to read. Also, I don't think that the star/house is relevant to Bang. (Didn't you have something else up first? A circle or something, or am I thinking of another post on a different thread?)

@Virtua1337 We liked the color you chose for Bang, but overall, your entry is a bit too sparse, and Affiliate should be the same length as Bang.

@ balpha: Sorry I wasn't clearer when I said "remove some of the empty space on both sides". We would like to see the red rectangle end right at the beginning of the A. I hope this makes sense.

@ polycode: I like the vibe you tried to convey, but your entry is a bit too cartoonish. Could you add a bit more detail to the background image, align the letters, and don't use all caps?

@NightVisioN: We like the spark over the B, but overall, your design is a bit too harsh and the bomb is too big in comparison to the name.

@mrEdesign: We like the placement of the bomb and the font you used for Bang (especially the G!). We like how you made the word "Affiliate" as long as the word "Bang". However, we don't like the font you used for Affiliate, it is too thin, and we think that italics clash with the rest of the site. Could you try a different font style for Affiliate? Also, make one version with Affiliate in black, and one in red?

@offevil:We really liked your depth of colors (like how you used two shades for Affiliate Bang). However, we don't like your choice of font (too hard to read) and the dollar symbol isn't unique.

Again, thanks to everyone for their participation. If no suitable entries are submitted by the contest deadline, we may be willing to hold the contest open longer if needed.

 

Changed "Affiliate" font, with normal larger font, black (1st), red (2nd).
Changed position of bomb. Less distructive look, more like an end point.
Storyline : "The wick lights when you start to be an affiliate, and seconds (minutes) after, you've created a store, fast and easy."

mrEdesign, we like how you did the bomb on your first entry, we think its the best looking bomb of all your entries. We like the lettering on your second entry, but can you make the word "AFFILIATE" a size or two smaller so that it fits atop the word "BANG"? Maybe you could slightly space the letters in "BANG" so that "AFFILIATE" can fit on top without going over? Also, please make AFFILIATE solid black and remove the red edging.
