Dante777, As with so many of the entries the website name and slogan have been included with a logo in your submission. The logo should be able to stand on its own. I will either design or have a contest that designs the web page header where the web page title and company slogan will be included. if any of the text is to be used perhaps it would be white on the blue top boarder of your logo icon. Or some other way to use some portion of the text built into the art. ISFP has frequently been used in in the entries. This is not so important to me. What is important is that the art work gives a visual of the intent or meaning of the title and slogan
Designers I may not have been as clear as I thought. I will be designing or holding a contest for a web page header that will include one of your creations as a focal point. On that header will likely be the web page title and company slogan. The Logo should reflect or be an image representation of the title and slogan but not nessasarily have them in the logo. I am depending upon your creativity to determine how much or how little of that text is included in the art work of the logo. The letters ISFP are also not necessarily important to the logo. Thanks to all for your submissions thus far. I only have another plus or minus 29 hours to choose from among the work currently or soon to be submitted.
Thanks for your feedback. More options... 1. http://i53.tinypic.com/oqhqar.png 2. without the ISFP stamp on the umbrella - http://i54.tinypic.com/ridh7n.png 3. logo with the title and slogan - http://i53.tinypic.com/admhwo.png Please let me know if you need anything changed.
Sure can and yes absolutely. Umbrella and a man Will include a family or two men as you suggested. Will update the thread asap.
Finalstraw These are so fun and so very clever! Unfortunately when I consider what a life insurance page should look like this just did not seem to fit. The people visiting my site will potentially be spending a lot of money and as cute at this is I am afraid it would not create a feeling for trust in the company. I hope you are inclined to submit another entry. Thanks Leland
divineworld You definately have the elements I am looking for in your artwork. It is just too generic to be a logo for a company that wants to be seen as unique. I hope you are inclined to try another submission. Thanks Leland
I like this color scheme better. I like your original man better. If you draw an imaginary line over the top of both designs there is an arch. If the top most portion of the arch could be lightly filled in with thinner lines or even elongated dots to represent water droplets it might be easier to see the umbrella effect hopefully without destroying the fountain effect. As to the man underneath in your first entry. A single man looks both like the source of the fountain and the handle/pole of an umbrella. Could you try adding two more of the first style, maybe half size, or smaller men to see if the effect is destroyed? Thanks Leland
I include here the feedback that I gave incase you missed it since it looked like it was above your last entry. Tsuther, the shield seem to be the best protection icon so far. I am impresses with the effort to make this look three dimensional. Could you make even more 3d looking and add something maybe scroll work kind of design to add a touch of the elite. I don't understand what the curved lines on either side of the shield are I think they are not needed. I do like the home and the cursive font on the bottom line of the third entry. I also like that the curve of the text makes it more part of the logo. Could the theme be put right on the shield, maybe instead of the ISFP? Maybe in an old english looking font? I hope you submit more revisions because I really like the shield theme and this entry is among my favorites. thank you very much. Leland
Hi kaynell.ws, Thanks for inviting me to the contest. I am out of town as of now will be back tomorrow so if the contest is still open till that time I will give this a shot. Thanks..
I think the black canopy destroys the fountain effect. Please see my suggestions in post #33 Thanks Leland
Divineworld Thanks for your entry in post #35. As you know I do like the umbrella theme. These are just too clunky. They appear to be almost unrelated images thrown together. The $ signs really interrupts the umbrella. The icon on the right has people above the umbrella instead of being protected by it. As you have read this thread you likely know that I also like the shield theme. I am also surprised that no one has used the cupped or supporting hand images in their work. Maybe you would like to try one of those. Thanks again Leland
